There's no point quibbling - they have us over a barrel - having been through TUPE outsourcing before - theres pretty much a carte blanche to do to you what they like. They only have to offer an "equivalent" position, and if you kick up - they can say that your new job is in (for example) Glasgow, then a month later in Exeter etc until you get so fed up you leave - as happened to former colleagues of mine. On the other hand for the politically skilled amongst us - big corps offer opportunities, though thats not much consolation to those of us who joined this sort of work precisely because we didn't want to work in big corporations any more.

We've got a little vb script that only allows a particular .dat file for each particular suite - seems to work as we had a "fiddler" too.

Can anyone recommend decent and not too expensive filtering software for Exchange 2003 - to do roughly what the post above does?

Journalling is the thing for this - to a restricted account. We keep the last month's emails in a journalled account if they need to be examined - works for us - though as you say it yomps up the disk space.

Yep - as people say - you're paying well over the odds - I'm on the Triple XL pack - free calls all day, 150 odd TV channels & 20MB BB for £56 - though am getting thoroughly annoyed by the current STM policies that are being introduced - so may be looking to dump them soon myself.

One of my clever techs has written a nice little vb that loads automatically and scans through all the worksheets and deletes any flash games it finds - its not perfect, but its enough to stop most things.

I just used the cassette tape deck I had on my set up - recorded the strange vinyl to decent tapes, then plugged the tape deck into the sound card and recorded using Audacity - not too much hassle as you only do it all once.

We do this through GPs and it just says that by clicking OK they agree to abide by the AUP that in force, copies of which they have and are posted up in the rooms.

Anybody know who got this in the end?
