Been insured on my dads Alfa 147 1.9td and also drive the other half's 1.0 Peugeot 107. The difference is quite scary. Although, because the 107 is so light, it is very nippy around town.

He got a longer sentence because he could of ruined someone's life. An innocent man's life would have been over, I think that has to be taken into account.

How far do you travel to work, how long does it take?

Mine is a 10 minute walk, The other half works in Oxford so it's just under an hour each way. -
I'm in a thick bubble, and everything is flat.

That's great, I've always been under the impression it's very hard to get published so well done mate!

A video from The Sun generating the reactions in this thread, not what I expected. She deserves education and punishment but death?! Really?! Edit: I am in no way defending her, it's awful but there is no way she deserves to be killed.

I want to go to there.

I did think about Netbooks, I saw a 2nd hand eee pc on eBay for £99 but I have a feeling the teacher won't want to spend any money. I don't think they understand that us giving them a years old laptop would help in any way.

Every year, a group of people from the school (teachers, pupils) etc.. go over to the Gambia. They usually take things such as pencils, footballs, notepads, etc.. Things that would be useful to children in a developing country. One of the organisers of the trip has approached us asking if we have any old laptops that could be given to a child over there going to University. The problem is, our old Dell laptops have batterys which are shot away and I don't know what the electricity situation is where the laptop would be. Also, they are so old, they wouldn't last a day over there... Any suggestions? I did look at the OLPC schemes but it seems you can't just buy them to give to whoever. Is this just wishful thinking in the mind of the teacher? Thanks guys.

I have no problem charging my phone at work. Site staff often call me on it so that's the justification. On second thought, maybe I should let the battery die so they can't get hold of me....

Just had a response: Stop and disable the ImperoGuardian service. Apparently it's being resolved for 3048.
-
Yeah we have, I haven't checked for a response yet.

We are currently using Impero 3.0.47. When it was on 3.0.39 we had very few problems, ever since the update (I think!) has gone down a few of us have noticed that Impero console will shut itself down at seemingly random intervals. When I try and start it back up I get the following message: "Unable to communicate with the Impero Services, please ensure the ImperoClientSVC is started under the Services Control Panel..." I've checked all the services, restarted them etc.. and sometimes the console will come back up. At other times the message continues to be displayed. In the C:\ drive there is a log file called ImperoUnresponsive which seems to be keeping track of the closures: ... 2010-09-14 12:14:38- Unresponsive program was closed ImperoClient.exe 2010-09-14 12:14:40- Unresponsive program was closed ImperoClient.exe 2010-09-14 12:14:42- Unresponsive program was closed ImperoClient.exe 2010-09-14 12:14:45- Unresponsive program was closed ImperoClient.exe 2010-09-14 12:14:48- Unresponsive program was closed ImperoClient.exe ... Has anybody else had this problem or is it just us?

You certainly got a lot of kisses on the end of that email...

This is my first post in about a month so that must mean: First day of term Today we found out if our adventure into Windows 7 pays off, whether our shiny new machines in the refurbished ICT suites are up to the challenge and most importantly, whether I can cope with wearing a monkey suit for the first time in 6 weeks. It's going to be fun. How was everybody elses summer?

A bunch of us went to see it last week and here is a pro tip I will be using again: A back pack with a few beers... (Not too many though as you can't afford a toilet break in this film!)

One of the best pieces of advice I've heard: Take a step back. Come back to the problem with fresh eyes. -
