In the days of Windows XP we used Impero V2 to monitor our network and ensure students were behaving appropriately in lessons. The console could be a hit or miss sometimes but it was quick and we could monitor workstations without a decrease in performance. Fast forward to Windows 7 and Impero V3: Ever since Impero V3 (Currently at version 3.0.53) has been running, we have noticed websites "sticking" when loading and our Frog VLE performing slowly. Infact it happens so consistantly that when disabling the Impero SVC and Guardian services, we were suprised at how quick our internet connection is. Pages load almost instantly and Frog whizs through without any problems at all. We are also having problems with printing since updating to version 3.0.53 but we have since been told that is down to a corrupt install package. If we enable the relevant Impero services on a machine, clicking on links can cause websites to hang for up to ten seconds before loading, Frog stutters and web performance slows right up. Not one to shy away from unbiased testing, I have tested and experienced this problem on numerous machines, under different usernames (Admin and student) and have even recorded my findings using CamStudio (A great piece of free software by the way). Video evidence: The difference is more than noticable, my NM (FragglePete) has just been in contact with them and they have suggested a few tweaks to cure this issue. Let's hope it works because if it doesn't, some decisions are going to have to be made. Watch this space...

Congrats mate, it's always good to know we have a reliable community here to help.

How many hipsters does it take to screw in a lightbulb? It's this really obscure number, you've probably never heard of it...

I thought bad jokes made a Friday Here is a more appropriate "anti" joke: An Englishman, an Irishman, and a Scotsman walk into a bar. What a fine example of an integrated community.

I started reading this book about anti-gravity, I can’t put it down.

School changes all staff and student timetables for 2 weeks
Fatmas replied to adder1230's topic in General Chat
AFAIK it's down to the kids having to do a lot of subjects and a certain amount of hours in each one. I don't think it could all be included in a one week timetable. -
Quick Bump: My XBL is: Fatmas, I'm currently playing Fifa 11 and Halo: Reach if anyone wants some Team SWAT, Slayer or Invasion.

Me and the other half gave up January 1st 2010 (New years resolution). We both had our last ones together at a new years eve party. It was tough for the first couple of months but neither of us have relapsed and we rarely think about it. I found that not going outside at the pub helped, I also started playing 6-a-side 2-3 times a week. We also quit without any help (patches or otherwise). We just went cold turkey, that was hard. It will be tough, at times it will be awful but it gets easier every day, I promise.

Quit with someone else.. Start exercising, it will be hard at first but within the first month you will notice how much more energy you have.

Don't put Adobe Acrobat on. 8.75Tb for a PDF Reader?! Use Foxit instead. A gunshot through the back of the PSU should do it.

And now the second, it's the skill that made it!: Sunderland 0 - 1 Fulham | EA SPORTS Football Some goal of the month contenders on this thread so far!

The first Fifa 11 goal I was proud of: West Ham 0 - 2 Fulham | EA SPORTS Football

Thanks for that, I'm happy where I am but it's about time I updated my CV!

We have just moved into a new flat, I was with British Gas at my old place and switched to E-on here (You can tie in your bills with your clubcard). I saw a British Gas man outside the other day who asked who we were with. I explained I had just swicted from BG to E-on and his response was: "Why did you leave us for the Germans?" Yeah, good way to get business mate, what car are you driving? A citroen? T***.

I must say, before playing Halo Reach I was very insistent it would be the same as Halo 3/ODST and I wouldn't be wasting £40 on it. My girlfriend bought it for birthday and in my opinion it's very impressive. I was a big fan of the multiplayer side from the previous two games and bungie seem to have taken everything good from them and improved it. The armour power ups are good fun and the new game types mean a round doesn't drag on as it sometimes did in previous games. Multiplayer looks amazing and even on my poor 5mbps Sky ADSL line I don't get any lag and everything runs smoothly. If you like Halo, buy this game now. Even if it's just for the multiplayer.

If you're keeping a P&G phone in the boot make sure you make a call every month - 60 days or so. I've known SIM cards to be deactivated if they are not used for outgoing calls for a period of time. (I've seen anything from 60-90 days). Bargain though mate, good find.

A Frog walks into a bank and approaches the cashier. He can see from her nameplate that her name is Patricia Whack. "Hello Miss Whack, I'm Kermit Jagger, son of Mick Jagger, and I'd like to get a £10,000 loan to take a holiday." Patty explains that he will need to secure the loan with some collateral. The frog says, "Sure. I have this," and produces a tiny porcelain pig, about an inch tall, bright pink and perfectly formed. Very confused, Patty explains that she'll have to consult with the bank manager and disappears into a back office. She finds the manager and says, "There's a frog here called Kermit Jagger, son of Mick Jagger, who wants to borrow £10,000, and he wants to use this as collateral." She holds up the tiny pink pig. "I mean, what in the world is this?!" The bank manager looks back at her and says... "It's a knickknack, Patty Whack. Give the frog a loan. His old man's a Rolling Stone."
