  1. Thats a touch annoying but at least its working!
  2. I would setup the router to pass through to the Firewall and let the firewall sort all the outbound traffic on the network rather then the router. i.e network - firewall - router - internet.
  3. I don't think you are going to be able to do it with those routers. Normally when I setup VPN's I setup from the firewall rather then the router. I've had mixed experience with the fortinets but have been using Watchguard devices recently which will do what you want. Probably I would say the XTM 2 series or XTM 3 series will do what you are after.
  4. Internally it is possible but I think from looking at this before you would need a second owa site on a separate port to not use externally without intergrated auth although this may have changed with 2010 See here for more info. Configure Integrated Windows Authentication: Exchange 2010 Help
  5. That looks as though there is two many values i.e how many cols are in that table? You need as many Y's as there are columns
  6. This may also help but appears to be after a host crash? MySQL :: Can´t open and lock privilege tables: Incorrect file format 'host'
  7. open a putty session and tail -f /var/log/mysql (i think its that path). In another windows tail -f /var/log/syslog and in another run the start mysql - can you paste up any errors.
  8. no - only worth that is if there is a use for iPads. If its just becuase they are "the new thing" then its pointless IMHO
  9. I would recommend Casio's put in a couple of the Short Throws and have to say they are pretty good. I put them on the Boom arms from Promethean Boards with a little modifications to the mount.
  10. HAHA this country is a joke - is that external staircases around tanks or does that also include internal ones? external metal staircases i can kind of understand if they are wet etc.
  11. The 5 I ordered for my previous school arrived last week... Although apparently when the women rang me I didn't order any powerleads or SD cards!!
  12. I got an HBA card and used a linux Software raid in raid 5 with two volumes in a LVM. It was based on the 4U 36 bay Supermicro Chassis. This is what i got Western Digital REII-GP 2TB 3.5 SATA Internal Hard Drive x 16 RAID CARD - Intel RAID Controller SASUC8I HBA (for server/board below) INTEL Quad Core Xeon E5520 2.26GHz LGA1366 Super Micro SuperChassis 847E1-R1400LPB (huge for future expansion) Super Micro X8DTH-IF Supermicro 8GB DDR3 SDRAM Memory Module 2 x 250gb HDD's for OS.
  13. Surely its common sense to keep an eye on things like this? Next they will give warnings that you need to check chairs as somebody fell off one? any maybe staircases because somebody fell down one?
  14. Should do - you have 30 days to activate.
  15. I know that, but LEA's will still let you sign up to there SLA's. I Know WSCC allowed schools i sign up to there SLA's once academies. But you must being thinking about Sims Licensing etc before you become an academy. If its in the interest of the LEA to get money for a license they own they may well help you fight it.
  16. I would just get a Large Chassis Server and custom build one. I made a 32TB machine for 4.5k
  17. The LEA's should take Capita to court over it - They tend to have huge legal teams so it would only cost them time rather then paying large legal fees to external agencies. I know when our school was taken to court by a company we had the LEA do all the work and didn't cost us a penny (we sign up to a legal services SLA).
  18. cunninghams! We where sold it having previously used it in V1 - dual finger scanners etc. When they installed it - we got V2 which at the time didn't have support for 2 scanners. Also on the premise it would write back to sims in the couple of months after it was installed. nearly 2 years later it will now write back to sims but everytime we chased cunninghams or biostore nothing happened. As of 4 weeks ago when i last spoke to teh school it still didn't write back to sims.
  19. As @Roberto says - some supplies i don't mind it with - for example my stone account manager used to ring me in march to ask if i needed provisional quotes for any hardware for the summer refresh - he knew i only bought desktop machines once a year so rang in march to give me budgetry quotes and then we spoke once i had a budget. He also rang at christmas to say happy christmas!
  20. If you look at the questions i think its anyone! Done
  21. My old school used the cunninghams biostore one - saying it would be linked to sims etc for sixthform entry - they are about to send it back to Cunninghams.
  22. Thats problaby some Volume Shadow copy stuff
  23. 2000 IOPS? I think the MSA2000 I used to have had a max of 38000 So one of them may work!
  24. run treesize free on it and see if it can tell you where its located.
  25. One thing i would say with what you have posted above is the main storage is on SATA - I would go for 10k SAS minimum. Also If you are looking at Custom Build SuperMicro do a Massive 36 Bay chassis which is good for large disk arrays. I built a backup server with 16 2TB HDDs and lots of space for more!
