Just installed MS Office 2010 Beta today after seeing it on a salesmans laptop. Looks very good. As the salesmans said to me, its great for normal end users and the menu system is organised in a way you expect things to be. It's just us techie's that are screwed! We still using in school MS 2003 because the jump from 2003 to 2007 would requires quite a bit of retraining for staff as I'm sure many of you will know and understand. Hopefully we will be jumping to Office 2010 in the new academic year. Anyone know if they are going to release a free sharepoint 2010 like they did with Sharepoint Services 2007?

Just out of interest.. what camera was these pictures taken on? Looks very nice over there. Don't know if it's my monitor here at work but pictures look underexposed.

yes thats what I've done. If no $_POST['submit'] variable is created. Then do you know what is needed for javascript button. If not I might just leave out the if statement. Only reason for if statement was that if something went wrong it stopped and outputed a message to the user saying something went wrong and to contact me.

Original purpose of isset() was that the form had a standard submit button at the bottom. I'll try and removing the if statement and see if that works. Thanks for your help.

Hi, Im currently coding up a form that uses php mail command to send the information to someones email address. I have two files html file (with the form) and php file that grabs the information via POST and mails it. Everything was working fine until I needed to add a bit of Javascipt that brings up a 'Are you sure you want to send this?' prompt. Looking at getting a Wireless Dongle for my Ubuntu 9.10 Desktop machine. Seen these on E-bay which say they are Ubuntu compatible. Ubuntu Linux USB 2.0 Wireless N 150MB Dongle on eBay (end time 13-Jan-10 23:58:43 GMT) It will be connecting to a DLink DIR-635 router Has anyone had an experience with these on Ubuntu, are they plug and play as they say? Good point. But when compatibility is important for a website, JavaScript is better.

To improve compatibility. I'd recommend using Javascript rather than Flash, because Javascript is build into nearly every browser and flash depends on a download. If you were using Joomla I would of recommended rokslideshow If your writing your own website I've done a quick google for JavaScript slideshow and found this article which might help you. I'm a bit confused as to how you have got this setup. Do you have the news items on the left or right? School Status and Meet the Staff should be modules and the news items would be Articles, therefore they should be seperate. If you can see School Status and Meet the Staff in Frontpage manager then it means they have been made into Articles. You can change the order of modules another way by just going to Extensions > Module Manager and changing the order number in this window. What's the URL of your school website?

We are using Internet Exploder 7 on the network. On my machine in the office, I use Firefox because I mainly do web development. (If your web developer and don't use Firefox, your mad!) We looked at deploying Firefox once acrossed the network but couldn't find a way to lock it down for students like you could IE.

You will need to login to the Administrator Console Go to Extensions > Modules Manager Find School Status or Meet the Staff, click on it. Then on the left. There is a drop down called Order: (just under Position) The lower the number the higher it will be. Hope this helps

Anyone know of some good training videos on how to make wordpress themes? Tried lynda.com but they only have general wordpress videos.

Just get a black screen when I boot it up in Virtualbox. Any special settings needed for this VM? Doesn't sound good if you have to have the internet in order to use your computer. Can't see it catching on.
