Can we not go round and round in the iPhone debate *again*... If you're happy with your iPhone -great If you're happy with a Desire - great Personally, I found the iPhone too restrictive after a year or so of usage - and the move to android has given it a lot more 'play' potential, which I love :-) However, its not for everyone - and other than any argument, you have to admit the popularity of the iPhone has kicked the smartphone development business up the butt more than anything else, so we're all winners!

Deploy printer using group policy - won't work
Domino replied to KevWCFE's topic in Windows Server 2008
I'd try Localzuk's method if the DFL is 2k3. In most cases raising the domain functional level won't cause any issues - but I can't comment on any legacy systems you might have in place. -

Also, are you deploying as a machine policy to a machine OU? or a user policy to a user OU? -

Network problem with Hyper-V to VMWare server
Domino replied to FatBoy's topic in Thin Client and Virtual Machines
I've found when importing machines its best to remove all the old hardware - as it does sometimes cause it to get in a tizz Log in and start a command prompt enter the following commands: SET DEVMGR_SHOW_NONPRESENT_DEVICES=1 START DEVMGMT.MSC then View->Show Hidden Devices and remove all the greyed out hardware -
Head of of Ofqaul asks: why aren't students using computers in exams?
Domino replied to psydii's topic in Blue Skies
You'd still need physical hardware for each student though..... -
You can indeed. Well previously you could, I've no idea about this new version, but I see no reason why not

Making internally hosted Eclipse .Net available externally. Questions
Domino replied to pete's topic in Educational Software
Could you put it on a new VLAN with a Read-Only domain controller on the same? Sorry, not a user of eclipse myself - just an idea for risk-mitigation. Otherwise it sounds like a major nightmare...
