Note for desire users - if you fancy more app space, you can try a full alpharev S-OFF root, which allows you to flash a different partition table. AlphaRev 1.8 Effectively reducing the cache but increasing the app space. You'll need the android SDK on your PC, but it is worth it -

Cyanogen 7 RC1 is out now for the desire Si, that's Gingerbread based. [OFFICIAL] CyanogenMod 7 for Desire (GSM) :: V7.0.0-RC1 (2/15/2011) - CyanogenMod Forum With a cache and settings wipe its been fine for me so far, and that's the general feeling in the forums too. Do a nandroid backup beforehand, and give it a go :-) -

I moved from RM easymail to Exchange 2k3 at a school I was at about 6 years ago. Relatively straightforward, just give yourself the time to get things right Buy the hardware and software soon as- run through the deployment guides and get your setup right. Copy out all the old mail from the old system - or just give people access to it internally only to copy out what they need (but make sure you have a cut-off point set in stone ;-) ) Make sure your mail presentation is correct for exchange and get your external certs sorted. Another good thing is to let people know what benefits they'll receive from an internal exchange system, then they know theres a reason for the change, not just for the hell of it. Basically its all in the planning and testing, the actual execution should be straightforward

Been running on our blades SD's here for 2 years with no troubles - for it to be HP certified you have to run a certain class, I forget which Means we save a bundle on internal drives, deployment is a case of cloning the SD card, we can always have an extra couple chucking about just in case, etc etc. Reliability hasn't been an issue at all. anyway back OT: as others have said you want to go ESXi, especially as there's no ESX->ESXi upgrade path and your next upgrade will require an ESXi install. However you'll want to move them all to ESXi if they're clustered, as there's issues with HA and mixed clusters I believe. And it's gotta be done at some time anyway right ;-)

Really, they think that's your responsibility? If so the purchasing decision for each and every bit should be too then? cause you know what they'll be needing ;-) It takes me 20 minutes to remember how to use some of the techy suites sometimes, forget user-oriented stuff

John, you'd have no trouble picking up Cisco and you know it! I won't be applying - I don't think heading into education again would be good for me at the moment. But give it a go mate, you know you'd love it ;-)

I know lots of people have been having strange issues with the updates from last weeks Patch Tuesday - tried just uninstalling the last few and giving it another go? Long shot, but it might be worth a go if you've a machine in front of you to test.

It was actually through sodium atoms - a laser bathed sodium vapour was used in the experiment Slow Light
