BWHAHAHA What the demise of Forefront TMG means for Windows Server

There's actually an official samsung extended battery kit for the phone: Samsung Official Galaxy SII Extended Battery | Hemorrdroids.net £25, but supported and with a different back cover that brings the back of the phone flush to the camera etc. Looks like it might be worth a punt to me...

Issues? ISSUES?! Ours consistently block traffic from vpn connected remote sites, for no reason. Or lock up totally, requiring a hard boot, or just blacklist whole subnets. On the initial rollout I had to rebuild it about three times due to issues with R2, then 64bit, then our network layout in general. MS could never get to the bottom of it, even after talking to the dev team, so we've been ripping them all out and replacing them with Cisco ASA's (aside from exchange/sharepoint publishing). Shame as the ISAs we had before worked fairly reliably. in short, I hate them. with a passion.

Be interesting to see if it actually works when passing high traffic volumes now....

Steve Jobs helped build Pixar with vision, cash - NDTVGadgets.com $50 million of his own money to keep a company going in an industry that no-one else believed in, computer animated films. Now one of the biggest studios going. Seems fairly visionary.....

They're more of a trend leader, think MP3 players before the iPod, smartphones before the iPhone and tablets before the iPad. Yes, people have done it before - but their mix of marketing, UI and design philosophy make up more than the sum of their parts - and tend to galvanize other industry players into more innovation. Personally I think driving that makes him a noteworthy guy, and I'll miss his keynotes.

I think there needs to be management decisions on this. If you allow it and it's exploited or a backlash - then it was their decision, and can't be blamed on the technology. -
