I've often wondered about those drinks with just the one calorie. Where is it? And what do you call the drink if you've drunk the one calorie with your first mouthful?

There is another factor in this equation, and that is government borrowing. Funding the regeneration of schools through BSF and PFI doesn't show up as government spending, and so Mr. Brown's management of the country's finances looks prudent. Only if the government itself went to the markets to raise the capital would it show on the books. The fact that the government of this country could go to the markets and raise the needed funds at a much more favourable rate than the usurous prices we're having to pay through "renting" these facilities, comes a distant second to looking prudent. On another note, I believe that some of the companies who have successfully bid for BSF contracts have already sold these on to third parties for a tidy profit. It's all perfectly legal.

Just an update on this topic. After a long search we came up with this site which provides the necessary drivers to boot the laptop, load the nic drivers and allows you to go on to ghost the machine. It works without a switch for for both sata and ide hdd's, takes a little longer to load as it has to unpack the drivers, but well worth it I reckon.

early last year I was directed to a BECTA doc which contained, amongst other things, guidance on such things as, "Pupils shall have 24/7 access to their own work...", and so on. After quite a search yesterday and this morning I still can't locate it at school, or at home. I'm attending a presentation this morning at 9:45, and ideally I'd like to have a printed copy with me. TIA

Unfortunately, because he was sat at the back of the class, he heard more from the teacher "next door", who had a louder voice, than his own teacher, and consequently his work suffered. They've put walls up now. Just apply this logic to a multi-screen cinema.

perhaps sunday wasn't the best time to post this, so if you don't mind I'll bump it.

this isn't strictly a webdev question. we recently published our Options booklet, and I was asked to cut 'n' paste the returned info into the school website from a word doc. staff had been given/emailed a word doc with a table phrases such as, "Why [your subject] is important", and as you can guess, when the booklet went out, (I know it should have been proof read beforehand, but that's another matter), a lot of faculty heads hadn't replaced the "{your subject}" section with their subject. It struck me that this could be done properly by having staff fill in an online form which returns an error if there is incorrect or missing information. I want the form not only to do the job, but to make life as straightforward as possible for the repro dept. and myself. TIA
