Can anyone please explain how to have two powerpoints on a loop in the same schedule? Struggling to work it out. I have created two layouts, one for each powerpoint. I've scheduled both to appear but only the one powerpoint displays. Do both need to be set as a priority? Do I need to do anything with the display order in the schedule options?

Anyone got a solution for this? It only happens with IE and tried messing with the options and security settings to no avail.

It wasn't a fix, it's just a way of narrowing down what part of the logon process it's getting stuck at. The fact you've moved it to a different OU can rule it out being a GPO.

Yeah managed to do it the exact same way myself after I'd asked the question. It's quite interesting learning what xibo is capable of. Up to now we've only ever used it for powerpoints but the display I'm working on at the moment has the day, date, and period, flash clock, weather widget, bbc news video stream, javascript quote of the day , and a bbc news RSS feed.

Thanks to those who posted their code for BBC news live streaming, was struggling but got it working now. What part of the HTML code controls the control bar? Does anyone know if it's possible to overlap regions? Or alternatively bring a region to "the front"? Also I have a slightly annoying issue that if I place a region in the corner it doesn't appear in the corner on the plasma screen. Another one is if I place a flash clock right on the left-hand edge on the design screen, on the plasma screen itself there is a left indent before the clock. In the properties of the region the left indent is set at 0.

Not a site as such, but if you do a Google image search for muscled ginger, the first result isn't very school friendly.

Used Overclockers for my computer and home and don't have any complaints about their service. Their postage prices aren't cheap, but if you become a regular on their forum you qualify for free postage. I've also used Scan and Novatech without issues too.

May or may not be a help, but we have some HP Compaqs and such a setting is in the BIOS. This may be specific to HP brand laptops though.

I personally haven't played the first game yet, and only seen gameplay on youtube but will be looking to buy it once the price drops. One issue I have with the game is that there seems to be quite a few quests where you have to travel via the sewers. Sort of defeats the point of being on a tropical island imo. So less sewer travel would be my main hope for DI2.

We currently have VLC on every staff laptop image. Despite our advice to staff that we suggest them to use VLC player, some still try to play DVDs with WMP or PowerDVD instead. Have people managed to set VLC as default when there are multiple media players installed? Tried various things but DVD drive always opens in WMP when double clicked. I know staff can right-click and 'Play with VLC' or open VLC and go to Media -> Open but not all staff listen to the advice we give so would be useful if VLC was default when playing DVDs.

Just to echo what other people have said in this thread. OCUK forum is a really useful place to ask for help and guidance when it comes to building a pc (I'm a member on there myself). They also do pre-built systems which you might prefer if your out of touch hardware wise. Having owned both the Antec 900 and the CM-690II I'd choose the latter. Antec 900 is a nightmare to keep clean (no dust filters) and there isn't much space to hide the cables). Was so glad when I got rid of my 900. I recently bought myself a Sandybridge system and would recommend the following: CPU - i5-2500 (get the 'K' version if you plan to overclock) If you do get the K version then I would suggest you get an after-market cooler. MOBO - Either MSI or Gigabyte as there were problems with ASUS boards (although the problems may now be fixed with latest BIOS update). If you go for the P67 chipset over the Z68 make sure the motherboard is B3 revision. Case - See above. There is a 'lite' and an 'advanced' version. PSU - Looking at 500-600W. Buy one from a known brand like ones gshaw has mentioned and you can't go wrong really). GPU - Well depends if you want to go red team (ATI) or green team (Nvidia). Nvidia tend to have better drivers from personal experience. You might find this website useful for deciding which card to go for as you can compare the benchmark results of two cards of your choosing. I currently have a GTX 470 but will be looking at updating it at a later date. HDD - Get an SSD if you can get one in your budget for your OS, and games.
