I've setup tftp32 to act as a dhcp,pxe,tftp server to boot floppy images using syslinux. Works fine on workstations with pxe 2.1 . On older pxe versions it refuses to download the default file. Anyone know how to fix this?

Could put a blank hard drive into a cloner but you would have to do it one by one.

Not to mention the recent contreversy over it TOS, duplication etc. Also the Windows Client installs per user.

Anyway of disabling that message asking for it to be your homepage?

Could always use boot and nuke / acronis drive cleanser etc to be sure. Also M$ are doing a free scanner for rootkits (beta) Microsoft Standalone System Sweeper Beta | Microsoft Connect .

Hi i have a XP machine with Smart 10 installed. On logon for all users it pops up with a message the the lower right of the screen saying there is a firmware update avaliable. When you click on it it offers to download it and install it. Anybody know if there is a way of hiding/disabling this message?

Anybody know how you can bypass the edition selection screen in windows 7. I've been using WAIK to create a mast install disc with custom image just pro not enterprise or any of the others. Can't seem to find anything in Autounattend.xml that can be added to skip it.

Sorry if this sounds dumb. OK I have a old NAS on my home network. Do I need to change the hosts file on each computer using it or have a DNS server for it to run OK. Rather than the clients go asking my ISP's DNS server for its IP? How can any samba device work when there no hosts file entry or DNS A record?

I just keep time machine backuping up to a NAS so I can get the server back and working.

Anybody who's using USBDLM. Can you place the ini file on a network share so that you can make changes that get updated to the clients without having to update the ini file on each individual computer? Is it possible using a ntfs junction?
