From my fuzzy memory, it's not what it was, I believe that was the reason for the extra cost of the licence.

It's an additional function that requires the purchase of a licence to activate. I'm not absolutely sure but I think we have had this discussion with Capita and my comment above was the outcome.

To be fair there are a number of add-ons and modules that Capita have to charge for. This may be one, I don't know for sure.

I'm not sure that advice is correct. How about asking and paying a local photographer for a licence only. If it happens every years why not ask Capita about a licence? I'm not sure what the criteria is.

Have you asked Capita or your LA support? I believe you can buy a licence, after all it's only a bulk import that you are buying.

I think you need to reply to Vikpaw's post further up before people here stop being too cautious to offer any real help. We are concerned about giving details to enable access children's data here.

It seems the school has 'been talking to someone' who recommended NovaP. Capita are sending a patch to activate it, so not defunct. Maybe they will change their minds once they start using it.

Office 2010 is supported on 32 and 64 bit. Whoever told them that should be looking for a new job, especially recommending 2007... 2003 is forgivable but 2007???

We have been given some hp xw4600 workstations. Some have a BIOS password so I cannot get them to start up on CD/DVD. Does anyone know how to reset the bios? The most promising sites are blocked here.

I am just in the process of claiming for my Desire. I had used it to get to a school using Navigation, in the process of putting it back in it's case I dropped it. The screen is smashed and has small dents in the case. I have to pay £30 excess, Not bad for a 'free' insurance through the bank. The screen is over £100 before fitting.

A quick guess from the limited info... The docstorage is not correctly named. it should be c:\Docstorage\ServerName\InstanceName\databaseName. What is the exact error message?
