Hm, as far as I know, Music-on-Hold is different on Leeds and Soton phone systems. I only know that the wav file on the Leeds MX is called "breath_control.wav"

@sjl - drop me an email with comments on the new UI -- we have a full time UI chap now who would be interested to hear how we can improve. As for the slow response to support queries, it is currently #1 priority round here to get this resolved, and we certainly will. There have been a number of issues which seem to have compunded the problem, but we won't hide behind excuses, we need to make this better, and we will.

You certainly shouldn't need to whitelist anything. It's generally pretty well behaved especially on the desktop.

IS DNS pooched on your client machine? With a traditional proxy you can get away with it, as the proxy does lookups, with transparent, the client does lookups.

Get it on a linux box (just the files), and run strings file.ext | tr A-Z a-z | sort | uniq and see if there are any dirty words lurking.

You already have the "hour" in an integer format.. keep spitting lines to your first hours file until that changes, then change filename. I would suggest perl is the language for this...

FWIW, we are quite heavily blockular right out of the box - this is a relic of the days of BECTA standards, which required us to have a tight tight tight standard policy - we hope, one day, there'll be other standards to live up to *sniff* *weep* As for reporting... all true - we've got some fairly in-depth reporting tools, but they can be tricky to use in places.
