Yes - if the UTM supports it - you can pass the x-forwarded-for IP out of squid - this may or may not fix your authentication, depending on the type. NTLM & Kerberos can sometimes be passed through to an upstream proxy, and captive-portal based auth can work if the xff IP is honoured. Does your UTM not do caching anyway?

No, and No. 1 interface fine. Yes you can cache youtube, but not out of the box. This is against youtubes T&C. 20GB is far too much. You will spend too much CPU time managing it, and it will be full of stale data. 2-5Gb more sensible.

You will need to whitelist a domain (I think it is c.youtube.com) for those users - the youtube app has a major bug in it where it fails to compy with HTTP standards, so G3 can't understand it

I believe we had oth accounts running n outlook, and most people copied that way, as we were on hosted exchange before. I used "imapsync" for my mail. The transition was a little painful. Google's outlook connector is still something of a crock, and does not play nice with authenticating proxies. When it works, it's great, when it doesn't, troubleshooting is hard. If you can get people to move onto Gmail, I would say it is well worth it. If you have a load of folks wedded to outlook, they'll not like it.

Maze solving algorithm - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia <-- my solution is a "left/right hand algorithm" - to solve a harder maze, it could be added to to use the "pledge" algorithm. Sadly the constructs don't exist in this demo (but do in the generic blockly language) to write "pledge", and nor is it needed, nor any quicker for this maze.

It's a shame there isn't a second "level" as someone pointed out - because some solutions work for certain classes of maze, and some are general. I don't believe any of the simple ones we have created here are fully general (is the left wall follower general for all mazes?) - it would be fun to find out

HTC Desire S, running Juicedefender on a fairly agressive profile. Low user (not always checking facerbook, make few calls) but my phone will get 3 days out of a charge, though I almost always charge it at night anyway.

Ours is neopost but it uses a modem. Doesn't work worth anything over a SIP ATA mind. Suggest you put a switch port into "monitor"/"span" mode and use wireshark to debug what the franking machine is up to.

Media PC is a no-go - none of the streaming services work on linux, and I'm not about to admin a windows box also the wife & I have an agreement about "number of boxes allowed under the tv" so an all-in-one solution gives me more flexibility!

I only let HDNL deliver to Smoothwall HQ, as they seem to know where that is(!) and there's usually someone around to answer the door so no saturday toys for me. Still conflicted with the PS3... would I really bother with any games? Are there any advantages to the PS3 or a dedicated player? Hmm.

£129 - blu-ray vs £189 ps3. plus remote... Is the PS3 noisy?
