  1. IM me your school name if you like
  2. That's not the ticket ID - that belongs to a linewize customer...
  3. If you are using a proxy, changing DNS will only work on the proxy Can you get me a ticket #
  4. Sorry... need a bit of context.. juniper "oops"?
  5. Nothing obvious - if anyone who is suffering from capchas that can't be solved could ping me a ticket in, and email me the number ([email protected])
  6. I'll dig through our support tickets and see if there's anything to escalate. A lot of google searches coming from one IP can trigger recaptchas but I have never seen uncompletable before.
  7. Maplin one of the early victims of PE vultures.
  8. I _think_ I followed the instructions, I did try it a few times, but it never seemed to take. Anyway it is having a second life now, I didn't need any more computers in the house... (well, now I am looking for some for my wife to take to Kenya to give to kenyan kids)
  9. I ended up giving away the macbook to a charity collecting old laptops. It was never gonna play ball with chrome, and I couldnt get legacyopenpatcher to work, and I can't be bothered fiddling with a linux machine, I did that in my 20s
  10. An absolute legend - never really took to much of his solo stuff despite "crazy train" being a favourite, but his voice absolutely defined Sabbath... so many good tracks. Just unbelievable. Out on a high note.
  11. If you have D&I on then you shouldn't need to block ECH - but it's best practice to do so anyway
  12. Could be ech, in which case it would appear in the logs as Cloudflare-ech
  13. Definitely sounds like quic/http3
  14. We’re running a survey amongst UK schools to explore how students' online behaviours are affecting their mental health. Your insights will help us to identify important trends, raise awareness of the need for greater support from policy makers and assist Smoothwall in the development of practical guidance and resources - all of which we will share with you. Can I ask that as many of you as possible do us a great service and fill this in - and please, forward the link on to SLT, DSLs, teachers, and others in your organisation, these are questions relevant to everyone. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/NLTPCTD Thanks in advance, Tom

  15. Great. Sorry for the inconvenience, an error on our part, but swiftly fixed.
  16. They will use the global blocklist - it might take up to an hour for an on prem system to "notice" the new rules and apply them, we should be coming up to the maximum amount of time now, are we still blocked? Can you DM me with your details
  17. OK, I have seen 5-6 tickets - if anyone is still getting problems now, let me know
  18. This is under investigation - a ticket from yesterday caused a fix to be added, and that fix made things a LOT worse - a new blocklist will be released asap, that should fix it for all (except maybe the person from yesterday)
  19. Just you I think... I have my eye on the ticket
  20. We are keeping an eye on this - don't worry, we will make sure Smoothwall folks are as well compliant as possible!
  21. Feels doable with a few simple components - you are just switching between off/on/strobe/flash - some sort of time chip like a 555 could probably generate your flash, and maybe even strobe lines.
  22. No, no proxy I know of can handle QUIC - the only way to handle it is to do filtering in browser like Smoothwall cloud.
  23. If you are MitMing that page will be blocked already as "games" - if you arent mitming you can't block individual urls
  24. Be some new rules to catch this more completely tomorrow morning
  25. Can you ticket it too - good chance it's config related
