This is probebly and old one but look what i found http://dosbox.sourceforge.net/crew.php did not now there ws an operating system named after our ilustrus leader of the fourm just downloaded it looks like fun.

and me will post it later has anyone got the new tiger woods golf if you do can you play online and chose your players as i was thinking about getting it.

not really if you consider the cat5e/6 is disigned for 1gb and the max you and send down 4 is 100mb X2 which is not as much data as it is designed for (sory about the spellings hope the fourm gets a spell cheack soon lol)

On bett moving fom Olympia it wont happen main reasons is it is not just a uk conference it is posted all about europe and is one of the biggest in europe. The one you are thinking of is the education show this i beleve has moved about a bit and it mainly for uk. Bett even had visitors for the usa last year thats how big it is. And Olympia is near a big international airport.

ok sorry to cause such a debate. This is for home use would not dream of doing it at work. Also it stopped me getting a ear bashing from the misses RE mess time and wasting time that i could have been painting the fence. I was told that it could be dome on cat 5e and 6 only as the 4 spare wires are redundent unless using POE or 1gb lan in wich case i would not work. As for interferance if it is done right it should work fine. And it does took me 5 mins to do now kids have xbox and pc on network working fine and wii runs off pc via conection sharing. thanks for the help and the mrs is happy as well as i got the fence painted did not spend all day messing with poxy computers as she puts it.

has any one read this http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/news/news.html?in_article_id=415347&in_page_id=1770 since this aparantly there has been a new servey done which is even worse and not just pc world one tech wrote off a pc for a deleted windows file charging the customer £500 for the new pc and using most of the bits out of the old one he told the customer was beyond repair. Has anyone seen the new one it would be intresting perhaps i am in the wrong job.

Ok I did not want to start a new thread but I see there is a lot of talk on here and in some of the other fourms I visit so i was going to ask a Couple of questions. On the event coverage link the register part is still linked to last years bett when you can now register for bett 2008. same as book an appointment dosent work. Also things like schedule and map I know I am a bit ahead of myself and tell me to shut up if you like or if you want a hand with bett 2008 as i am only part time i can start to get things together (links programme map ect) just a thought also is it possable to change the thread to bett or start a new one bett 2008 (I know shut up go away) just a thought thats all.

thats ok but sort of plug scokets problem in that area pc monitor xbox wii tv skybox all there and no more plugs not without being silly. Its a kids games room so i have tried it today i dont need silly speeds and it works really well (if i put switch there complaints about more eletric being used ) and kids wont switch it off or play with it. At the moment they have to unplug the rj45 lead and they have broke that twice in two weeks so breaking a switch will be really easy.

its not the switch its the cabling and save space looks better i think. thanks webman.

Ok While reading an artical in my usuall magazine micromart there was a peice in there about splitting an RJ45 cable into two. I have a hub at home but have just got a new pc and where it is wirless is not good at all. i have already got one cable in but it took me 3 days to do and dont want to do it again. So reading this artical gave me the idea has anyone done this and if so does it work and how fast. basicy it works like this port 1 orange/white to pin 1 orange to pin 2 green/white to pin 3 green to pin 6 port 2 blue to pin 1 normaly orange/white blue/white to pin 2 normaly orange brown/white to pin 3 normaly green/white brown to pin 6 normail green basicly you make two points from one cable hub at one end just save running another cable befor i comit myself and upset the other half if this works there will be less mess she wont have to help and it would take 30mins instead of 6 hours. my question does it work and if so at what speed.

I have come across a little error. have hopefully found the solution but did not know if anybody had any thoughts. Its a new install nothing on it YET have made it dc and also is now running dhcp 20% and just installed wsus 3 on it and thats the lot so it is not working that hard as tere are not many pcs to deal with. Now for the error Faulting application w3wp.exe, version 6.0.3790.3959, faulting module webengine.dll, version 2.0.50727.42, fault address 0x00002fec. i tried this fix now it looks like i am getting this error Faulting application w3wp.exe, version 6.0.3790.3959, faulting module unknown, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x00000000. any idears please as it is driving me mad i know it has somthing to do with wsus3 but i can find out much about how to stop it.

Ok i dont know quite what to think have see a few site advisers that teel me that the software installs some bad drivers http://www.siteadvisor.com/sites/ashampoo.com?ref=safe&aff_id=0 i know this is a mcafee one but there are others just wondered if andone has starter getting popups or other anoying stuff. I know i am being cautious but mum old mum used to tell me nothing in this world is free and to this day i found this to be true. within reason.

quick time is a pain as adobe seems to have sorted there msi out now also a peice of software i use called dance ejay and there is no way to package it.

Welcome to the (x-Forces) and edugeek you will find a few of us x forces here i beleve we have pongos (army) bootnecks (marines) and the andrew (navy). Join in have fun and most af all they are only teachers after all.

i am sure the code: is the fourm way of showing it and not part of the script take it out and try again and it might work i know i havent put code: at the start. I am sure someone will tell me if i am wrong.

one way you could do it is trough the pta or friends of the school and put it all through there accounts as they are all vat as they buy stuff for fairs to sell and all sort or other things and only the pta has a say then and any money you make goes back to pta i am sure the school wont mind that i know some schools that do it that way already.

Ok i have two trains of thought here personal and business. Personal in store they are crap with a capital C Overpriced and giving you the big sell i hate it. Now for the business bit I have never bought spares parts or anything else but what I do buy from them are my licences. They have give me my own microsft licencing account i get every disk evey month as it is reliced and yes i do have disks of vista and ever other microsoft product you can think of. As for pricing they are just as cheap as the rest of them and in a lot of cases cheaper IE exchange plus 60 exchange cals £167.00 which is schools select agrement and have not found anyone much cheaper. plus i already have the discs so i dont need to worry about them ariving.

this looks really good and i would love to know what to change so i can use it on my network.

lost of cps questions also about protection on the net as well

I have just ordered halo 3 on xbox 360 looks wicked

I was told the other day that a crt give of more radation than most things and we sit in fround of them. If you want to know something reall scary there is a place in devon called dartmoor it has more radition than anywhere else due to the fact is is all on quartz and gives of radon gas.

My drill instructor from entery into the nave he was evil and hated every one and every thing i am sure of it. He made me bunny hop around a marching squad and then made them dubble (march very fast) while i bunny hopped faster with a rifle above my head for ten mintues. My legs were like jelly for days. but it was not just me we all ended up doing it as he thought we were crap.
