I had a similar issue with templates not being registered. I found that gpupdate /force, then restarting fixed it. I'm not sure why this worked. I think that forcing the gpupdate also forced the recreation of the UE-V Template Auto Update scheduled task, thought I found that manually starting the task didn't register the templates.

Mine's empty again today. It looks like the same problem as last week. I'll just wait them to fix it this time.

Mine got fixed the next day (2-May).

I phoned them. They said it's a global issue affecting some customers, likely to be fixed tomorrow.

It's a new 3-year agreement, expiring November 2021. Yesterday I asked MS to add a Office KMS key, which they say they did. I don't know if this is something the tech did in adding the KMS key (most likely I think), or because it's the start of the month, or just a technical glitch. I'm still waiting for them to reply.

I logged on to my VLSC this morning and I have no licenses! It still shows the license agreements but each agreement now shows no licenses. It was all there yesterday. Is it just me or does this affect anyone else today? I've logged this with MS support, but they haven't replied yet.

It drove me mad for a while too. You need to find the right language pack for the Win10 build. Have you tried this? https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/mniehaus/2017/04/26/finding-windows-10-language-packs/ I found it pointless to install LPs anyway - it didn't work for me. I solved it by running setup.exe from the International English Win 10 media. This installs the right en-GB edition over the en_US edition and fixed the spell checker and updates to latest version at the same time.

Updating an old thread... This has probably been added to Chrome since @KibosJ posted, but I found you now also need User Configuration > Policies > Administrative Templates> Google > Google Chrome > Force enable spellcheck languages: en-GB

@newpersn : what GPO setting exactly was blocking it? I've got the exact same problem as you had, but can't see any relevant GPO settings. My Ladibug cameras were working until about two months ago. Now the LadiBug application will not run on Windows 7 or 10. The behavior depends on the graphics driver installed. With the generic MS graphics driver it just closes. With the Intel graphics driver LadiBug says "System video limitation reached... ". I thought it was Sophos blocking it - but I've ruled that out. Thanks.

Brilliant - obvious when you know how. I've downloaded the English International ISO and used MDT to deploy that. It works - Office365 is now spellchecked and in proper UK English. Color becomes colour. Strangely on the EduGeek site it only checks the first couple of words - that doesn't matter for now. MDT customsettings.ini needs to have:- SkipLocaleSelection=YES UserLocale=en-GB KeyboardLocale=0809:00000809 SkipTimeZone=YES TimeZoneName=GMT Standard Time I've never bothered with the International English ISOs before. Now I need to find out how to apply the Features on Demand to convert the few botched US English machines I've got.

@DJ-1701 - Did you get a solution to this? I've approved the en-GB Language Pack in WSUS. It still won't install. WSUS reports the en-GB LP as needed by the client, but the client's Windows update reports no updates are available, and doesn't install it. I'm wondering if the LP is the correct approach. I've compared DISM output with my home PC where the Edge spellchecker works perfectly. On a computer with UK spellchecker working:- Default system UI language : en-GB The UI language fallback is : en-US System locale : en-GB Default time zone : GMT Standard Time Active keyboard(s) : 0809:00000809 Keyboard layered driver : PC/AT Enhanced Keyboard (101/102-Key) Installed language(s): en-GB Type : Partially localized language, MUI type. In WSUS I've enabled Language Interface Packs, Language Packs and Feature on Demand. The LIPs are for 'minority' languages (like Welsh) - there are no English LIPs. I'll try approving and en-gb language pack in WSUS and see what that does.

Spell checking all enabled in the control panel. It applies to all my users - I get frequent complaints about there being no spell checker in Edge. I've been using Win10 Edu here for over a year and had just assumed that Edge and IE had no spellchecker. Win 10 Education, various builds up to 1709. Has anyone fixed this?

I'd order stuff that was "in stock" and it would take three weeks to come - it was always three weeks. I tried them a few months ago to see if they'd improved. I ordered an item that was "in stock", only to get an email saying that they couldn't supply those. I've used Insight for bits since then, but even they're not as good as they once were.

Apologies to the OP @sonic1485 - I know this had gone off topic, but here's the solution to getting it connected. I've solved it and got mine connecting via IP:- Give franking machine fixed IP address via DHCP reservation Change DNS server from default AT&T DNS to ours. These are not set by DHCP. Add Smoothwall Guardian » Web filter » Exceptions, add franking machines IP to Source exception IP addresses In franking machine, change all proxy exclusions to "no" so that everything goes through Smoothwall port 801 proxy i.e.:- Options > connect-data centre > LAN settings > Proxy: enabled, smoothwall address, port 801 for both HTTP and HTTPS. No username or password required. Options > connect-data centre > LAN settings > Proxy > Exclusions: set all to "no" I've also added a firewall rule to allow everything coming from the franking machine (but I don't think that's necessary)

I've set a Smoothwall firewall rule to allow everything from the machine. I've also set a Guardian web filter rule to whitelist everything, and a HTTPS inspection rule to not inspect everything from that address. I've also tried bypassing the proxy. It still won't connect. Even though I can see the traffic going through the firewall?! I logged a call with Pitney Bowes this morning. Someone called me back and showed me how to enter the DNS settings. The machine is set to use DHCP, but it doesn't get the DNS addresses - they have to be entered manually. He also told me how to enter IP address via the arcane input system (to get a dot press 1 four times - the dot on the keypad won't work). They're going to send an "engineer" next week. That should be fun. Ours is also Ethernet via USB adapter. I think the next step is to connect via PC Meter Connect software and USB to the receptionists PC.

We have a new Pitney Bowes machine. I'e been trying for 2 days to get the thing connected, but it won't. I've made firewall exceptions in smoothwall and can see the traffic going through, but it still won't connect. The connection troubleshooting manual they provide is little help, as the machine won't respond when it can't connect. Logged a call with Pitney Bowes. Sorry - rant over.

@jslate1980 Where did you get the Add-UnifiedGroupLinks cmdlet from? It's not in the MSOnlone module. I'm trying to bulk add members to an Office 365 group. All I can find on the web is how to add members to distribution or security groups. *edit* I've fixed it. It was the way I'd opened the session. I think in my case it was AV on the server interfering with the .wim file as it was being copied to it. AV on the source computer shouldn't make any difference as it wouldn't be running during creating the wim. WinPE just copies it across as an offline D: drive.

I've just had the same issue. Creating the WIM would get to about 200MB, then stop with the error and delete the incomplete file. I'd recently installed the Sophos AV client on the MDT server. Though it was set to not scan on access. Uninstalled Sophos from the MDT server and captures working perfectly again.

They've just changed the top-up page that appears after buying an item this week. It now defaults to the exact amount needed (in this case £33 for a bus pass). The apology email says that they'll restore the shopping basket by September. At the moment, if the account is empty each item is a separate transaction, costing the school credit card fees each time.

I haven't tried free780's reg edit, but have done some experimentation with the WDS server multicast settings. Using MDT/WDS running on Hyper-V, and just one physical client. Unicast speed: 17MB/s multicast (separate clients into three sessions (slow, medium fast)): between 17-22MB/s (even with just one client) multicast (keep all multicast clients in a session at the same speed): 2MB/s After the 1-session multicast, I put it back to 3-session and the speed was still 2MB/s. I restarted WDS, tried again, and the speed went back up to about 17-22MB/s It seems that WDS is making decisions about what speed a client should get and sticking to that. Anyway, for me, letting WDS use 3 sessions had best results, even faster than unicast.
