Has anybody else got a joomla website hosted on EMBC (web1 to be precise) I'm having problems ever since web1 went down for a while 1. Contact us form gives a 'Could not instantiate mail function.' twice 2. Lazy backup extension not emailing backup of database. I think its a PHP related issue:confused: waiting for a reply from them

If you give Promissor Support a ring 0870 240 9819 option 1 they can confirm your details They are very helpful in my experience anyway.

When you start the browser does it open two windows? "one saying the webpage you are trying to view is trying to close the window" "Do you want to close this window"? ignore that the window underneath that box is the log on screen. Log in does it work then?

Do you use a proxy? if so have you told ESM server about it?
