I'm having a bit of a headache backing up my system. How does everyone else do it? I've tried installing mondo on ubuntu but I need to install compliers to do that, can I get the compliers installed :? but thats another story any help would be appreciated

Hi I'm a newbie when it comes to ubuntu, i've installed ubuntu server and Xampp . Xampp is installed in /opt/lampp and I'm trying to get joomla up and running. I've put the joomla site in /opt/lampp/htdocs/public, fine with that. How do I open a Text Doument in the terminal window to edit the httpd.conf as Root :?

I used to watch it all the time. I actually did the assualt course back in my army days. The zip line at the end was down for repair, so we had to run through that mini lake at the end It was good fun though

Slightly off topic but Sims Has done this to us a few times while starting. Solution was to update MDAC (microsoft data access components) seem to fix the problem. Maybe worth a try -

Our Photocopiers in school don't have network cards or scanner unit. So The only route that we can go at the momnet is standalone unit. But I will be putting it forward that when a replacement for a photocopier is sought that these functions are included in the spec.

Our Repro Graphics is looking at buying a sheetfeed scanner. Seems they are being given a increasing number of scan jobs. Can anyone recommend one?

Has anybody seen this before? (see attachment) We have got a laptop which fails to update from Microsoft's site, I have trawled Microsoft's looking for a solution, nothing works. So eventually restored the laptop from restore disk, still fails to update with the same message. Any ideas?

Do you use eclipse in your Library/Learning Resourse Centre? If so what version is used? SQL server version or Access Version. If so do you have any problems with it? According to our LRC it keeps losing book reviews that the kids have entered amongst other things. Cheers in advance
