Its quite painless, backup everything export your database, you need to modify you configuration.php create a new database on your host server, import your database and move all your files see linky for a step by step guide

One route you could take is to get a message to him about this, and for your brother to contact his pay clerk or his Regimental admin officer out there and make them aware of the situation. They will have the resources to sort this out.

Resurecting again:) I'm just wondering what people are using to display image galleries in content items? I know very simple image gallery and simple image gallery plugins. Which are good plugins but I want to display a lot of pictures inside to article. Anybody use anything different? Has to be 1.5 native Thanks

Totally useless I know but if you right click the logo in firefox and view image it changes the edugeek favicon to the logo:getmecoat: just something I noticed

I'm now looking at some sort of backup routine for the site. I know there is modules for joomla. What are people using? or is it a case of manually backing up the database? Thanks in advance.

Is the smooth gallery still published when you remove the urgent news module? If so is it published to the right module position, might be worth checking.
