  2. It would appear we're on the list too we're a walsall.sch.uk domain - on the invaluement spam list We use Office 365 as our outbound mail connector - incoming is working fine (and it only seems to be affecting BT Internet emails at the minute)
  3. Apparently they're suffering a sustained DDOS at the minute so we've been told it'll be intermittent for a while
  4. I'm 60 hours in and only 45% through lol Loving it! DLC a must - hopefully adding to the story!
  5. I have recently set this up with Office 365 - easiest thing to do is run the hybrid config wizard - that does most of the linking for you. When I am back in work tomorrow I will check my notes on how I did it and let you know. The EOP spam service isn't as comprehensive as a paid for solution (we ran barracuda here for the last 12 months) but it does seem to be catching the majority of bad mail and from what I can tell there are some customisation options - most using transport and mail flow rules - which all work as expected.
  6. Is there any chance of seeing the delete code the pupil uses?
  7. I'd agree with @john on this. the builtin version is a little lacking in terms of functionality. We did have Xeams in for a while and that worked well (in proxy mode) Xeams Web - 10MinsWeb But now we have a full barracuda Spam Firewall in place (at least for the next 9 months) while we migrate over to Office 365
  8. The cups and saucers in the top image aren't doing my OCD any good That being said, we held a 'Cake Off' (see what we did there) and so far have raised about £100, hopefully will be doubling that by Monday.
  9. My Google foo isn't working today... We have o365 setup and users can install the full software as usual. In the o365 admin center I can see the machines that have been activated by user. We have some users who want to use their iPads etc to run the office apps. Now, I know you can sign in to these apps using the o365 sign in (it works for me and it activates) but for some reason these 'activations' don't show up in the admin panel Am I looking in the wrong place or just being impatient? Cheers!

  11. Do you not use the AD Directory Sync Tool?
  12. you should be able to see if there is NIC teaming set up on your servers If you have that multiplexor driver setup you are using the windows NIC Teaming - I know there is other software available but this is what we use I'd be getting in touch with your supplier and asking the question - they should have left you with config documentation at least!?
  13. 7K doesnt seem that bad (if installation is included) we dont have a lock-down system here just the tannoy part (been in since building was installed eons ago but still works as good as day 1)
  14. They did this recently with an accident near me... http://www.expressandstar.com/news/emergency-services/2016/08/23/m6-death-crash-tributes-paid-to-father-of-two/ (images part way down story)
  15. Just a thought, you don't have NIC teaming or trunking enabled on your switch do you?
  16. Without knowing the full situation it's hard to comment but I wouldn't be relying on an over the air solution if its for lock-down announcements - 100v line systems are the best option imo, tried and tested and shouldn't be that expensive depending on how many classrooms/ speakers you want installing also with a system like this it should be easy to pipe in any other external feed, like your radio etc (we do it here to test) and have that come out of the speakers
  17. IIRC The cluster services manage which disks are online on which server. in other words let it manage it dont mess with bringing disks online manually as you can corrupt the data on your drives. That being said, looking at the Screenie in the second post it may well be a network issue of some form (have you updated card drivers or anything like that) does your HV boxes have the correct network configs etc?
  18. Started it last night on PS4... enjoying it so far - it's not as fast paced as some of the FPS games about but should keep me interested for some time... not sure how long it is going to be before it gets a bit repetitive though? yes, there are literally billions of systems and even more planets that have diverse and varied life, but if you're doing the same thing to catalog and analyse on each one it will become boring very quick. all in all i like it. i have only played about 3 hours though
  19. We use Kramer gear for our multi projector setup - imho they're great! not cheap though...
  20. We have it installed alongside a few other services on a Virtual Member server... been solid as since the upgrade from DirSync
  21. It's nice to see in amongst all the bad press they have received recently that there are still some signs of life there...
  22. @CyBeRkId2002 @whs1000 @SchoolsBroadband - did these issues get resolved?
  23. Happy Star Trek Day!
  24. you're going straight there then... so your smoothwall shouldn't be interfering having a quick look back at your OP it looks like IIS is complaining about some bits not being installed...
