Ahhh hahahahah!!

OMG can't wait to try McDonalds in 'MURICA. And KFC. I'm gonna get plenty of weight to lose over there!!!!!!!!!

Did you know the 'muricans put mash potato in the gravy at KFC...? But talking about KFC in a weightless thread is evil. When you off to the states?

In the UK they put the scraps from the chicken fryer in the gravy. It was on that programme on BBC 1 this week.

They don't do that anymore @elsiegee40 damn EU regulations (I used to work at KFC when they did this... gravy was so much better back then!)

EDIT: just found the programme... weird, I'm almost certain they don't do that in my local shop.... the gravy is no where greasy enough. I used to have to filter the oil then bag up the stuff from the filter!

Off to the US of A tomorrow! I should be there in 24 hours hopefully.

Going Boston for 10 nights then NYC for 3 nights. Excited!!!

So weird about the gravy. The one in our local shop doesn't seem greasy enough to have the henny penny scraps in it. Maybe my tastebuds have changed since back in the day!!!!

KFC's weird - it's something I always liked the idea of in theory then just found too greasy to cope with in practice. And this is back when I used to be horribly unfit and ready to eat junk food by the double handful. These days about the only fast food I can stand is subway - the closest thing I have to a weakness now I guess but then if I walk the 5 miles into town to buy one then I've probably not got too much to worry about.

:cheer2: Very pleased with my weigh in this morning. I am just one pound off my target weight and have lost nearlt a stone since Christmas. It has been very slow to come off, but hopefully I will keep it off this time... as long as I stay away from the snacks.

My weak point seems to be about 4.30pm. I have an apple now rather than anything more fattening

  • Thanks 3

Well done. I'm the same. Get home in the evening and just want to feast on anything! I find planning ahead and making sure I've got something waiting for me, an apple, small snack etc that's healthy has really helped.

planned to weigh myself on the 1st May after settling in in new home, and planned to step up my exercise etcetc, picked up an injury saturday so hoping it clears quickly.

Dropped to 92.5kg yesterday, from 95-odd two weeks back. To be expected really as I'll lose some water weight following a session on creatine. Will be happier sub-90kg with visible abs!

I don't really enjoy cardio anymore. Used to quite like running (ran a half-marathon every Friday night a few years back) but I certainly couldn't do it now in my advanced years (32) with my dodgy hip. Doing 400cals of cardio each night after weights is making me feel ancient! Hehehe.

Weighed myself this morning. Down to 13 1/2 stone. :D 2 1/2 stone gone in 3 1/2 months. I suspect my consultant will be quite surprised when I go in at the end of the month!

I've plateaued at the moment. Down 1 1/2 stone since the beginning of the year. Really stepping it up since recovering from my broken toe by playing football and jogging a lot the last week. Hopefully will kick start me into losing more again. Only problem is more cardio I do the more hungry I get :/

Trying to find that balance between eating small enough portions to still lose weight but not small enough so I don't have enough in the tank while playing footy and jogging is difficult.

-13lb in 5 weeks. Happy with that. Cycling and recording everything on MyFitnessPal has helped keep me on the straight and narrow.

I'm not by any means fat (except stomach) I just have a beer belly :L my arms and legs are stupidly skinny and then i just look like a blob (too much Guinness). As opposed to lose weight I just wanna lose a bit of belly fat and gain some muscle in my arms and legs.
