michael2k6 Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 (edited) Haha, thanks. I've only been here 12 months, but I've become part of the furniture in that time. They've been very complimentary of me, but sad to see me go. I think my absence is going to hit a couple of individuals considerably harder than others, and it took 7 months to recruit me in the first place due to not finding suitable applicants, which is surprising given the salary VS location. JohnRMoore Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Hi, I'm John from Bedford. I'm looking for a forum to discuss student device lease purchasing, and (presumably, not sure) a BYOD network to support these when in school. Can anyone point me to the correct forum? I know some people get mad when you're on the wrong forum!
Dos_Box Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Hi John and welcome; for leasing questions people either use the Hardware or How do you do it? forums and for BYOD you can use Netbooks, PDA and Phones (we shall be changing the name!) and Wireless Networks to ask about devices and the network infrastructure. Sorry for the breif reply, havign brekkie and thought you'd need a response 1

Dnias Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 Morning! Hailing from Northamptonshire, I'm a gamer, guitarist & new father to a beautiful 2 month old daughter . I work for an IT Reseller (Boo!!) but come from a technical support background. Got a couple of projects coming up that I may be seeking advice on, but I'll post in the relevant forum thread as and when I need to. Just wanted to say hello !
DCUK6 Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Hi all. Just joined ICT manager world for the first time. Have been working as a technician in a school where I pretty much ran the place apart from doing the paper work. Got a lot to do as they are about 10 years behind in every way. Created a plan in my head but just looking into all the paper work that now needs to be done now.
Little-Miss Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 (edited) Greetings @DCUK6! Sounds like you have exciting times ahead of you! Plenty of knowledgeable folk here if you ever need any help or advice. Edited April 24, 2014 by Little-Miss
DCUK6 Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Thanks Little-Miss for the welcome. It's going to be chaos in the next few months but going for a new DC server and domain in the next few months so can get it exactly how I want it.
Stone_Charli Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Hi guys, I'm Charli, originally from Walsall, living in Cannock and working in Stafford, where I've just joined Stone Group! Little bit about me... I love American comedies - think (30 Rock, Parks and Rec), I'm a massive Harry Potter nerd, into photography, and I'm a little bit addicted to Reddit at the moment. I'm not massively techy but I'm looking forward to learning a thing or two as I go along!
