My daughter is doing a degree in Product Design Engineering and needs responses to this survey please. Need to know about how space can be an issue for small city housing.

Modern Professional City Living Survey

She is also looking for a youngish professional (that's us.I think) who lives in a city (or big town) and who will agree to talk to her group, take some pics and talk about daily routine and issues faced. PM me if interested

please fill the survey in though - anyone who lives in a city will do!

thanks

Done - define: youngish (!) Also, where?

A.

Oh, you're young enough @Netman !

Where doesnt really matter- the point is that if you are living in an urban environment space is often at a premium - and the UK has the smallest houses in the world apparently!

So presumably you want someone in a new build where the bedroom fits a bed wardrobe and thats it

That would be a good example but many house conversions into flats, maisonettes and the like are small and cramped, too.

Done the survey, live in London in a flat shared with my girlfriend and another couple, although it's fairly spacious compared to some places. We pay for that privilege though :(

Done.

I like in a flat share, but as its an old tenement, its got high ceilings and is pretty spacious compared to most of the new build houses/flats I have been in.

I was going to fill it in, but realised that my house doesn't really come under the city living requirements and 'Semi-detatched' wasn't an option. Sorry. I suppose I would be classed as 'suburban'...
