Edit user accounts in bulk

Hello everyone

 

I would like all students accounts to use a mandatory profile that I have created. The only trouble is that I do not want to manually add the profile path to each individual user account.

 

Is there any way that I can automate this task? I have my users in a top level OU named students, then they are further divided into yearly intakes OUs.

ADModify will do it, I think.

You can simply select the users in ADUC --> right click --> properties and then I think it's profile tab.

 

Enter the path to the man profile you have and hit ok this will add it to ALL the selected users.

 

You can also us ADModify as stated above as this will do what you need and a bucket load more too.

If its 2000 then I think you can get round it by loading the admin tools onto an XP workstation.
