MelodicBrush Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 Can someone reffer me to a good site to buy cheap computers/laptops, I have a budget of £100, pretty dire situation i'm in at the moment, I am looking for something that is capable of smoothly running flash. Or if someone has one to sell to me, thank you very much.

elsiegee40 Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 You would be better off getting a free one from freegle or freecycle and using your £100 to upgrade it.

Chris_ Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 @ict-direct have some good deals on desktop computers: http://www.ict-direct.co.uk/computers/desktop-computers
gshaw Posted July 5, 2012 Posted July 5, 2012 Also tier1online.com, if you can add a little bit more the Lenovo T61 \ R61 are built like tanks and a Core2Duo is still plenty enough for Windows 7 etc
gshaw Posted July 5, 2012 Posted July 5, 2012 Another vote for ICT direct Can you order from there for private use though i.e. if you're not coming from an education organisation?
witch Posted July 5, 2012 Posted July 5, 2012 Can you order from there for private use though i.e. if you're not coming from an education organisation? Yep I have a T60 at home which I bought from them for my own personal use
john Posted July 5, 2012 Posted July 5, 2012 Can you order from there for private use though i.e. if you're not coming from an education organisation? If you contact them they are usually happy to take a cheque and once cleared will dispatch the goods to you
witch Posted July 5, 2012 Posted July 5, 2012 If you contact them they are usually happy to take a cheque and once cleared will dispatch the goods to you They didn't wait for my money to clear...maybe they just like me. After all, they took chocolate to BETT especially for me
