Millgate Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 Not seen a thread about this yet so either, there aren't many football fans around or everyone is expecting their team to fail miserably??? Have we got any optimism? I've got a feeling that England might sneak a win this evening!

rich_tech Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 It seems weird this euro compared to previous ones I think, especially the neg publicity surrounding it from things like that panorama programme, that being said I think 1-0 is reasonable, not going to be fun in that heat looking at it.

I think if you accept we arnt that good, it's more enjoyable. Its the ENG-ERR-LAND idiots and the tabloids who always massively overestimate our chances Enjoyed the tournament so far though, Fridays games were the best. They put such "downer" on Roy becoming manager, it seems like we're now expected to lose for a change! I don't think we'll play particularly exciting football but hopefully we'll defend well and Carroll &/or Welbeck will put their chances away.

I would normally disagree, but apart from the annoying Adrian Chiles they've actually talked football and the football games currently being played. I'm surprised the BBC didnt cut away to the England camp half way through some of the games, its embarrassing. Strachan and Martinez were streets ahead in terms of tactical talk and interest than any of the BBC crew so far. Anyway last 5 England vs France W0 D1 L4. Big, big game for England.
