just bought a 55 plate vauxhall astra diesel as i'm moving jobs and need a commuter car. it's the SRi so looks pretty nice and drives really well (and cheaply!) my old car is a 53 plate MG ZR 160. goes like the clappers and makes a very satisfying noise doing so!! it's actually up for sale at the moment, so if anyone in the Swindon/Wiltshire area is after a lovely looking and running car then let me know. only 51k on the clock too y'know!

agreed. I get really bored of using computers by the time I get home every night! barely ever go on the laptop now. I've got a single box in my living room which is media server/player, and then 1 in each bedroom to watch the media on from downstairs. none of it is on permanently though, as i'm also a bit tight fisted with it! used to be though.

I fitted one to a MK3 astra before. ended up buying 2 (very similar) kits. one came with mandarin/engrish instructions and wouldn't work. found a much better (and not much more expensive) kit from someone who did full fitting instructions based on what car you had. very very good, was fitted and working in 10 minutes flat. if i remember right on the vauxhall stuff of that era, under the kick panel in the drivers footwell you should find all the wiring you need to fit this. it just crimps onto the wires already in place, no need to cut into stuff specifically.

seems we're a lot more pessimistic around here, we all have England down as a loss unfortunately! i'd like to think we could win something, sometime, but their recent performance tells me different...

what on EARTH do you use all this computing power to do?!

so i'm assuming she can cook you nice food for you and the drinking buddies and deliver it to the door? (not into the cave itself mind you, thats men only). the one problem i find with the whole downstairs being a man cave is that the girlfriend has to enter it, and she beats me at some of the console games, so then i have to confiscate the controllers and send her to do some washing up or something...

i'll have to post up pictures of the living room at mine sometime. There's 3 guys in our house, so the whole thing is basically one giant man cave. multiple leather recliners, big TV and surround sound with consoles, proper table football, darts and another sofa in the kitchen (so we can relax while i get the missus to cook the dinner of course!) and a dedicated beer fridge to go with. It just makes you think eh..... why get married?!

depends what times of day you are getting that amount of traffic, i assume its got peak times and isn't an even spread?

and you're home in the day to use it? 4pm-9pm is 5GB limit. you can hit that in under 15 minutes going at full speed.

having watched the second video fully i'm now very interested by this! you can actually record the journey with map and live video behind it. very useful in case of an accident.

i use part worn tyres on my car. always buy from the same place (as that's all they deal in) and get a very good price. just got the front 2 switched, 64 quid for both inc. balancing and fitting. they look pretty much brand new so can't complain there! always do a quality job and have quality stuff, but it very much depends on the place. oh, and they're most likely a bunch of pikeys, but thats fine, as with all second hand car stuffs...

that looks pretty cool! i've got a USB version of the tool, cost me just 12 whole pounds from ebay. very useful for diagnosing faults on the car, but this looks to go one better when used with the android software

i had them before, no complaints. I'd always opt for Virgin Media cable broadband when you can, but as I couldn't at my old house I went with BE and it was great. PlusNet on the other hand, would never go with having gone with them when I moved and subsequently switched very quickly. Terrible customer service, didn't give me the product I asked for or was told I would get, all in all were awful to deal with.

top 2 packages. 50mb and 100mb both don't traffic shape, as they are 'VIP' packages.

Hi All. A very odd problem here, and i can't think what would cause it or find anything online which seems relevant. We have one MFP used on site which is deployed to all computers twice, once for B&W and once for Colour. This is set fine and works fine with all programs. That is, except Excel. If you go into any of the office suite (word for example) select the printer in the print page and select "printer properties" then it pulls the correct properties we have set when we deployed it, and the same as it shows in Devices and Printers. But do this same step in Excel, and it has the B&W option ticked for both printers. If you change that option for one printer, it changes for both! But this is still only within Excel, it doesn't make the change within Windows itself. This happens for all users inc. admin. has anyone got any ideas what may cause this? because i've run out!
