Back on topic - if you have your browser fill a screen at resolution 1600x1200, you get a white band on either side of the logo. This didn't happen with the old logo.

 

that may be to do with the background colour of the logo's frame being set to white/no colour. Even so, setting the background colour to match the image background colour probably wouldn't solve the problem either, as the minimum size of the frame would still leave two cute blue strips down either side. However, I've had a thought which may solve the problem. Create a thin vertical strip from the left of the image, say 10 pixels wide, and set this as the background to the frame, repeating along the x axis, insert the image so that it justifies to the right, and Bob's your mother's brother. Or everyone else could use a different resolution/smaller monitor. You know it's worth it.

OK... done a bit of playing of my own

 

The alignment issue and extra whitespace was due to the template being a table and having an extra cell (which we don't use). I've fixed it for our huge monitors - although DMcCoy's lovely logo looks a bit ropey since the RJ45 plug ends rather abruptly. Don't suppose that you could add the rest?

 

I'm also not sure if the image background is quite the same colour as the page background (#EAEDF4) - making it transparent should work now though (previously the cell background was set to white).
