That's a quality display!

Don't those all in one jobbies use a hp projector? might be worth taking it down and giving it a clean out, or chuck it out to a repair shop. I'd say the digitizer is boned, lamp looks okay.

Ahh, the good old Unifi35 projector (sarcasm). We've binned 2 of these so far. (Equinox, Steljes recommended repairers wanted £2500 + VAT to repair)

I assume that the output of the PC has been confirmed ok? (connecting screen/another projector to same output?)

We replaced with Casio's LED projector and a Hitachi A220 Ultra Short Throw Projector, been put off the Unifi range.

Hi

Check to see if a wire has come out of the splitter computer or projector. Try without the splitter they can do that when they break.

Yeah display is fine from the PC.

Can't even get any projector menus to display.

You guys are confirming pretty much what I was thinking.

Already disconnected the board from anything this board has a built in scratch pad that doesn't require a PC and those menus are also not displaying

Had something similar happen here before Xmas, under warranty so they just replaced the whole unit (apparantly it's not worth trying to fix anything) - the guy who did the job said that it happens "all the time" with those projectors, and that they have been through several redesigns to try and stop it happening.

So yeah, I would assume that your projector is knackered.

Is it a Unifi projector? i assume it is, (read my other posts about Unifi) you can assume it is beyond cost effective repair, new unit price is around £1300, (DLP again bless them).

The wonderful unifi system.......assume its dead. I've been out to schools who have had these replaced at less than two year old. You can keep the board and just get a new projector. UST or ceiling mounted.....its up to you

I have a hat stand too, it shuts down after xx seconds, very useful.

We have replaced at least 3 now, they are pants

LOL @ Hat Stand, ours was used as a coast stand for a while, only as a smart (or maybe smutty / dirty minded) member of staff said when it was sat on the floor end up the shape of the original unifi projector looks like something you may find in an Adult Shop / male gentiles so the coat was covering it up till we made room in the store for it.

Needless to say said projector was scrapped and replaced with a Casio :)
