Hi all I'm looking for the above position in the Sheffield area. Does anyone have any recommendations for companies to contact. I have 6 years experience in the education sector, mainly primary schools in the Bradford area. My missus has to move for family reasons so I'm just having a look to see what is out there. Cheers

smart units are notorious for overheating in my experience. All the ones I've seen generally start going wrong after 12 months.

For you to have a nosey

I've only experience of the Epson 450wi range of interactive projectors. Never had any issues with them at the schools where they are installed. Nice solid, good looking, easy to use unit. Its worth a look in my honest opinion.

My company deal with TP Matrix for our sanyo warranty repairs........they are not the best. Poor at communication, work takes forever to complete.........I would advise looking beyond them. -
My company install the NEC M230x range in classrooms now for those schools who cant afford the LED option. They are a brilliant unit as stated by mrwobbly. I would recommend them over Sanyo all day long.

Spiking promethean board
LeeBirdptinstalls replied to LeeBirdptinstalls's topic in Promethean Direct Support
Basically the teacher is attempting to write on the board but the cursor goes haywire. -
I have a board that is at least 6 years old and is severely spiking. Ive tried a new PSU, the drivers are up to date, so barring environmental interference Im going down the route of knackered board. Is it worth replacing the electronics box on the back of the board or will the school have to bite the bullet and replace. All suggestions are welcome
