Then your picture (the PCs I have, P series like you say) have the black grill. In my picture it looks exactly the same just a white grill. Do you (or does anyone) have the Esprimo to confirm it's any different?

stephenleak Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 I've now started imposing internet access bans, even for minor damage - like bending PS/2 mouse pins by forcing them in regardless of orientation. I had to fix yet another one on one PC in the library, but this time whilst the culprit was still using another PC in the row. So, I put the repaired mouse back on the one he was using ("you damaged it, luckily for you I've fixed it, so you get it back"), and he - as I expected - objected, so I gave him a 1 day ban (they are usually for a week and just for internet misuse) for damaging the mouse, he kept on arguing - again as expected -so I gave him another day for arguing with me, he still kept on mouthing, so I gave him yet another day for being so "phenomenally stupid that he couldn't see that there was a pattern developing", at which point his two brain cells actually fired in unsion and he also realised that he was also beginning to look a prat in front of his mates. I don't think any of the other kids there at the time will doing anything like that in future either, and I hope they tell their mates not to annoy that fat b*st*rd of a new computer technician as well!
enjay Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 @StephenLeak - I like the idea of giving a punishment to someone on the grounds of them being "phenomenally stupid", my slight concern is that such a practice could quickly result in a very widespread punishment! :-)

I was chatting to one of the cleaners the other day, and she mentioned that she had noticed that they have started putting the chairs back under the desks! I hadn't spotted this. BTW, I am certain that it can't be due to the teachers telling them to. If they did, that would guarantee that none of the kids would do it, if you see what I mean.

We need 60. 30 with holes for two USBs and Mic and Headphones 30 with holes for one USB and Mic and Headphones Previously we got them direct from Service Source but they say they only have ones with no holes at all now, just blocked squares instead of the aboved mentioned bits.
