Polish vodka

Looking to buy some Polish Zoladkowa vodka (think there are 3 flavours?) for a mate of mine as a surprise, but it is like rocking horse s--t in the UK... anyone got any bright ideas?

Not sure if this is the same stuff or whether you want to buy online, but I have used this site before we no problems when I was looking at a good whisky for a mate.

If you got a large Asda near most stock it. Nowadays all the large ones have a Polish aisle.

 

Might be worth checking that before making special orders,

 

I know ours has the main three,

Wodka Zoladkowa Gorzka (Herb and Fruit)

Wodka Zoladkowa Gorzka - Crystal de luxe (Original vodka style)

Wodka Zoladkowa Gorzka - Mint

Had some before. In all honesty i cant remember what it was like but the day after was murder! A friend was given it from someone.

That stuff if lethal I am told. When I worked in transport the Polish drivers used to bring it back at new year when them came back from Poland at Christmas, don't drink the stuff but been told about it.

Oh, and while you are there, make sure you check out Cowmans for some sausages!

Tom.. There is a place called Selby, just down the road from York.. you might have heard of it... that is the best place to start looking.

There is a polish bit of leeds, and they do have a few stores, my cousin is married to a polish woman up there and she goes to some places...use the yellow pages for a place called Polski Delikatess (I think that is the name) and you should be good to go.

Hm, thats on Dewsbury road IIRC... thought about going there, but its pretty small looking. Wouldn't have classed beeston as a polish area, but you never know. Closest decent sized supermarket is sainsbury @ white rose.. give that a tickle too maybe...

I bought some of that back from my last visit to poland. Thought it would be rough cos it's vodka that looks like whisky. But i ended up drinking most of it straight from the bottle. Brilliant stuff!
