Hey,

We're looking at renewing our main printer in the IT Suite. We currently have a Xerox 8560, but it keeps eating ink.

We do not want to lease, but does anyone have any recommendations. We're looking for cheap running costs.

Many thanks,

Nath

We use Kyocera printers here, primarily FS3900DNs. Networkable, duplex units as standard, pretty fast, reliable so far and economical toners. All in all, I'd recommend them.

We have started using Kyocera printers here over the last year. We have 1350DN, 2020DN, 3920DN and 5350DN printers.

We haven't had any issues so far - and reading about them they are supposed to be good for low cost toner usage.

£250 for a canon LBP7750Cdn

Just bought one for our geography department and bolted it on to our current canon lease (we own it but the lease sorts our toners + maintenance) So far it's excellent.

Refurbished HP LaserJet 4200's from ICT Direct are well worth it, cheap toners if you get re-manufactured ones and they are build very solidly.

Ricoh SPC430DN would be my recommendation for an ICT Suite, the initial purchase cost is a bit expensive, but after that you just pay a cost per page which includes all consumables and a 4 hour response on-site warranty. Make sure you go direct to Ricoh and get it on the OGCBRM450 pricing. We did quite a lot of TCO comparison with other printers and this comes out really well.
