LosOjos Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 Right, Christmas is next week and I haven't got the missus anything yet. She's been banging on about this Pandora bracelet a girl at work has for a while now: where can I get one in Birmingham/Wolverhampton/Walsall/Merry Hill? As time is of the essence (and eBay is swamped with fakes) I'm hoping to pop out to a shop and get one, anyone got any ideas?
sparkeh Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 You could try using the pandora website to find your nearest store: Stores | Pandora 1
CESIL Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 There appears to be a Pandora shop in Birmingham 1
witch Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 Most decent jewellers will sell them - T H Baker in Merry Hell is one of them I believe 1
CESIL Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 Merry Hell Is that a typo...or are you passing comment on the place
BatchFile Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 I got my other half some bits from here - quick delivery, nicely packaged etc. GiftandWrap Christmas Charms 1

I have seen the official shop in the Bull Ring, but I find official shops tend to be more expensive (I've never understood that one, but that's another story)
sippo Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 Be in her real good books and go for Chamillia. A little bit more expensive, but she'll love it. And I think they take pandora beads aswell. 1
beaches511 Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 there is a brand new pandora store just opened or due to in the next few days on the high street in birmingham city centre (opposite m&s). i'm fairly sure there is also a store that sells them in the bullring on the bottom floor. Good luck 1

Thanks for the heads up though!
docboggle Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 Is that a typo...or are you passing comment on the place If you have ever tried going around Merry Hell at Christmas, you will understand the renaming!
kaphc Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 If you have ever tried going around Merry Hell at Christmas, you will understand the renaming! Sounds a bit like MeadowHell in Sheffield! :-)
Little-Miss Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 If you are going to pick some beads to go on it, try and find something maybe with a bit of meaning behind it or linked to a memory or something. I'd find that sweet! 1

SimpleSi Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 I think its the present of choice this Christmas (even beating Argos vouchers or a tumbledrier!) I'm buying the bracelet and daughters/friends are getting the charms Si
Popular Post bossman Posted December 14, 2010 Popular Post Posted December 14, 2010 Gave my missus a belt and a bag last Christmas, she was over the moon!!! Hoover has never sounded as good hehe!!! 5

MatthewL Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 A lot of jewellers do their own brand of them so watch out. I was looking at one for my girlfriend and the bracelet alone was £55 and then the charms varied between £10 and £50 each! Decided on something else in the end but they are really nice and if I had the money I would get one. 1

Fortunately my girlfriend prefers the leather bracelet to the silver one, so that'll save me £20, still going to push me over my meager budget once I add on a charm or two though! Why won't she just accept that I'm an atheist and don't celebrate christmas eh?
teejay Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 Just get her a leather shoelace and some cheap plastic charms, claim you misheard and thought she said PoundStretcher.... 2

witch Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 Yes I did mean Merry Hell - my sister lived in Stourbridge for many years and that is what we all called it. As for Pandora - they are pretty but for me they are too 'fashionable'. Yes, you could buy beads for many years to come - until the day when they become yesterday's big thing, and then what do you do? I never did follow fashion - but then, I'm a female geek and that makes me pretty strange anyway
BTCC_Fan Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 I think your right witch about them being a fashion trend and they could be gone tomorrow. Although they have stores they are franchises I believe (overhead someone in shop telling a customer that) so it would be quite easy for them to suddenly stop trading. Whoever owns Pandora must be extremely wealthy because I got a silver charm with some kind of stone for my girlfriend yesterday which cost £35 but its the smallest thing ever!

Maybe I'm just grumpy - mrwITch never bought me anything like that.. (his first present to me was a guinea pig cage, but that's another story..)

I never did follow fashion - but then, I'm a female geek and that makes me pretty strange anyway I agree entirely, however the lady wants what the lady wants... it's my own fault, I set myself up for this one last year in Dublin looking for a 'lucky charm' bracelet... EDIT: Oh, and by the way, what a rip off! A leather bracelet with one charm: £60. I could of got identical from the toy shop for under a fiver and carved 'Pandora' in to it myself!
