Hi,

After changing ISP we don't use a proxy server anymore. Beforewhen I wanted to ban a pupil internet I changed there logon script to one that had a false proxy but now that doesnt work.

Is there any way in group policy to set a fake default gateway or any other ideas.

Thanks

False Proxy? are you using random numbers? I used to use 127.0.0.1 as the proxy to point to the PC it's self that would normally be enough to fail ie quickly without the hang wait.

Consider purchasing a utm like ISA it's really useful! I ban users there (as it's AD aware)

I add all internet browsers to the software restriction list in a group policy made for those particular children. They won't even be able to launch them and they get a nice message with something along the lines of "administrator has restricted access to this program".
