localzuk Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 Lol, very nice. OTT yes, but pretty well put together.
mstarkie Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 That is definitely one web designer with too much time on his hands!
sonofsanta Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 Needs some wolves howling at the moon for added appeal. I love the idea of a military guy looking at that website and thinking to himself, "Now these are some on-the-ball people, and my kind of folks. I'd trust them absolutely to ship whatever I need to wherever it's going in as dramatic a fashion as possible, preferably with Ride of the Valkyries playing". ...seriously, though, I've seen better interfaces on Newgrounds games.
Dos_Box Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 (edited) After 10 seconds I went to find another packaging supplier. IMHO, it would drive people away as it takes far to long to get to the point. Edited September 24, 2010 by Dos_Box
aerospacemango Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 Feels like I am playing a SNES game. This is true! The military side of things put me in mind of Half Life 2 or something similar (BF2?). I half expected to see my mission objectives flash up, then pulling off a couple of blistering headshots before getting nailed walking round a corner!!! Those, indeed, were the days!!!
buzzard Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 bloody hell, make sure your speakers aren't on full whack after listening to the mew manics album!!! ended up turning it off far too long winded, but highly ammusinG!
gl3nnym Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 Oh dear. This website hurts me in many ways. Just too much!
CHR1S Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 LOL, reminded me of those old school flash videos that were on steakandcheese before it went porn!
Martin Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 After 10 seconds I went to find another packaging supplier. IMHO, it would drive people away as it takes far to long to get to the point. Yup, at the very least they should have a "skip intro" button! Oh, and some HTML text to show to people who don't use flash mb
3s-gtech Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 Hmmm, wonder what'll happen on an iPhone if I load that? It's like something from 2000. Utterly ace in a rubbish, retro-web way - I suspect that's not what they went for though, and their web designer got paid a mint.
rad Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 I got to what looked like a powerpoint. Our year 9 students could do better than that.
localzuk Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 I got to what looked like a powerpoint. Our year 9 students could do better than that. Oh come on. There was some real animation skill in places - that helicopter for example - it even had shading that changed when it moved. Not as amateur as you make out.
ajbritton Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 Loved it !! Tim Burton meets Ren & Stimpy !!
Andrew_C Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 Very clever; and almost entirely content free.
