webman Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 I still maintain that there is no real difference between the parties. ... apart from all their policies?
Batman Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 ... apart from all their policies? Assuming they deliver on their policies.
ICT_GUY Posted April 28, 2010 Author Posted April 28, 2010 ... apart from all their policies? Apart from the lies they tell you so that you will vote for them, the ones they forget as soon as they are in power?
webman Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 Apart from the lies they tell you so that you will vote for them, the ones they forget as soon as they are in power? Which is why I don't listen to them - I read what they have down in black & white.
CHR1S Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 Which is why I don't listen to them - I read what they have down in black & white. Yeh because what you read is not a lie aswell??
ICT_GUY Posted April 28, 2010 Author Posted April 28, 2010 You can tell when a politician is lying, his lips will be moving.
webman Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 Yeh because what you read is not a lie aswell?? It could well be. But it is there to challenge the party with at a later date if necessary - it can't say different things to different people, and it can't say "well I didn't exactly say this, or that..." I haven't been watching The Liars' Debate on TV for two main reasons - a) I won't be voting LibLabCon anyway and b) It's all about the person, not the political issues themselves, IMO.
torledo Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 after may 5th there might be a nice photo opp for Brown outside the jobcentre. 2
K.C.Leblanc Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 8 days to go....for some, literally! I think my local Labour guy will be one of them. His majority is only 500 votes. Shame cos he is a really nice chap.

We have similar situation - only Lib Dem or Tories get any votes here really. The Lib Dem won by 247 last time! Really hoping he can do it again as he's been great and worked very hard in the area.
