ICT_GUY Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 http://wykeregisjun.co.uk/gordon_brown.jpg Gordon Brown! Bit of a mistake coming to Weymouth though as he got a bit of a cold reception. Gordon Brown's new strategy of meeting the public backfired yesterday after a shopper suggested he change jobs because he was looking ill. On a visit to an Asda supermarket in Weymouth, a woman in her forties asked Sarah Brown: 'I would suggest your husband changes his career because he has been looking unwell since getting his new job.' Mr Brown attempted to laugh the slight off, while Sarah ignored the question. Dos_Box Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 Perhaps he was just reaqauinting himself with everyday tasks like the rest of us have to manage for when he gets made redundent in the next round of cuts due in a couple of weeks. Surely he's more of a Waitrose\Sainsbury man though?
ICT_GUY Posted April 27, 2010 Author Posted April 27, 2010 I think he should have gone to Lidol or Aldi.
tech_guy Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 No, he strikes me as being more of a Netto man.....
ICT_GUY Posted April 27, 2010 Author Posted April 27, 2010 Typical though, I had all the kids with me and just wanted an eight pack of pepsi Max. Took me ages.
Arcath Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 Typical though, I had all the kids with me and just wanted an eight pack of pepsi Max. Took me ages. surely theres other places that could supply you with said goods? local co-op maybe? You should have pushed passed him on camera and when they stop you you should have just shouted "im an under paid under valued school it technician im not stopping my day for the man that put me in this position" 1
ICT_GUY Posted April 27, 2010 Author Posted April 27, 2010 Yes it was the spooks that pursaded me not to get too close. They had the look of serrious people who are not used to dealing with the public.
Edu-IT Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 Typical though, I had all the kids with me and just wanted an eight pack of pepsi Max. Took me ages. That made me chuckle. Little things, little minds and all that.
webman Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 You should see the picture of David Cameron outside of Peacocks. Ow.ly - image uploaded by @scottgdouglas 6
ICT_GUY Posted April 27, 2010 Author Posted April 27, 2010 That made me chuckle. Little things, little minds and all that. I have nothing but distain for the majority of Politian’s. I had no desire to see this and certainly seeing him interfering directly in my life just made my skin crawl. He hates the public, he hates dealing with the public, he looked incredibly uncomfortable and was only there because the majority in the area is so low. He seemed to be incredibly unpopular by the comments being thrown about. Funny thing though, I would have been excited if it had been any of the ex prime ministers of recent times regardless of allegiance.

ICT_GUY Posted April 27, 2010 Author Posted April 27, 2010 With guns, dont forget the guns. Ps The visit didn't even make the front page of the local Echo. You have to laugh.
K.C.Leblanc Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 The visit didn't even make the front page of the local Echo. You have to laugh. It's not looking good for him at the moment, I read today Nick Clegg said he'd be prepared to work for men from Mars, but Gordon Brown was out of the question. 1
tech_guy Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 I sincerely hope that GB doesn't get 're-elected' (there should have been an election or at least a referendum when Blair went). He comes across as very arrogant and dismissive of anything or anyone that doesn't fit in with his vision of the world.
ICT_GUY Posted April 27, 2010 Author Posted April 27, 2010 He has the look of failure about him, he looks unfit, shabby and generally ill. As a race through evolution, we are programmed to follow strong leaders with charisma.. I would put his chances a lot lower if the rest of the parties where not so week.
witch Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 We had William Hague down at Tescos the other day. He seemed to get some positive responses but what annoyed me is that he just went on and on about what the Con guy in my constituency would do if he got in, when the brilliant Lib Dem who has the seat, and lives locally, is doing all the same stuff already
soveryapt Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 I have had the pleasure of a visit from Sarah Brown and her spooks... scary blokes, very scary blokes!!! Apparently scary maybe, but I used to work for an organisation who had dealings with Royals on quite a number of occasions, and the Spooks were actually quite funny to chat to .. never did let me have a go in their armoured vehicles that can do ludicrous speeds on flat tyres though .. lol .. Although, having said that, as nice as they were, I still wouldn't of messed with them .. lol ..

Did he look like this: http://t1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:Fb193reG5FI6tM:http://news.bbc.co.uk/nol/shared/spl/hi/uk_politics/04/conservative_conf/img/2.jpg Or this: http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_2MxNldr5ZRI/SJnt3eAed7I/AAAAAAAAADQ/uD0viaeCtDQ/s320/william_hague.jpg Tsk, William the wonder kid. Not.
webman Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 We had William Hague down at Tescos the other day. Is that Tesco, or Tesco's?

They did alot of talking into their suit jacket sleeves and absolutley shat themselves when she dissappeared from view in an outdoor classroom into another one, they can run fast too lol
Batman Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 I always felt sad about William Hague. I like him, but he's a Conservative so I'd never vote for him.
Dos_Box Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 I always felt sad about William Hague. I like him, but he's a Conservative so I'd never vote for him. And we wonder why the same idiots get voted in time and time again (this goes for ALL parties!).
soveryapt Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 And we wonder why the same idiots get voted in time and time again (this goes for ALL parties!). Someone's been reading up on the fact as a representative of some sort of media establishment you need to treat all parties the same .. never thought that applied to forums though .. lol ..
ICT_GUY Posted April 27, 2010 Author Posted April 27, 2010 I still maintain that there is no real difference between the parties.
