Sirbendy Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 oh yes...kiss thy bodywork goodbye.. This is why a friend of mine uses his prized Suzuki GS550 in the summer, yet in the winter brings out the Black Pig, his prized Reliant. Warm and pretty salt proof.
ChrisH Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 My horn arrived today. I will try and fit it this weekend . I will do a before and after video or at least a recording to see the difference
ChrisH Posted October 30, 2008 Posted October 30, 2008 Well the new horn is just about fitted. There was no chance of it going where the original was but I found another place for it under the fairing. The horn is not quite as loud as I expected. It is slightly louder than my original but not much. The tone is definately different though. The original was a bike characteristic "meeeeeep". This has definately got a much deeper tone and sounds more like a car horn.

nikaso Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 My bike history so far: 2001 BMW F650CS 'Scarver' (what a ridiculous name) 2006 VFR 800 (Fantastic but not agile enough for city riding) 1999 BMW F650 (Bought off ebay, ran for 2 weeks then the gearbox ceased, miraculously didn't lose too much money selling it again) Ex-police 2001 Pan-European (didn't fit on it very well being 6'6, seemed to have slightly too long legs) 2006 TDM 900 (excellent bike, had to sell as couldn't justify running a car at the same time) 1998 XJ600 Diversion (bought because I missed 2 wheels so much so went for something cheap, it wasn't much fun...) No bike at the moment but dream bike right now would be a big trailie like a BMW 1200GS
truslack Posted June 8, 2010 Posted June 8, 2010 Current bikes: Armstrong MT500 Armstrong MT500 with a velorex sidecar bolted on Suzuki GSX250E (which I decided to chop the rear end off, and convert into a hardtail with box section instead of shocks) MZ ETZ 300 (Current commuter) Suzuki RG125 Gamma Honda CB650 Nighthawk (if I ever get round to picking it up)
