Just defending Misco (& WStore) here. We are both part of the same company now and I'm pretty sure that if you ask your account manager for free delivery, it can be applied. There may need to be some order history in place but I'm pretty srue this can be arranged. I give free delivery to all schools that I deal with. Also, on the website issue, Misco will be switching to a new site later this year which will have the same layout as WStore with drill down menus etc. Please do not discard Misco or WStore as a supplier of choice based on a delivery charge that can, more often than not be removed and on a website that will be improved greatly before the year is out. No. Its not illegal to play poker online either. However, the processing of payment from US people to the online gaming companies is illegal. So while you can play online, you cannot legally deposit or withdraw funds The poker sites got around this by investing in smaller struggling banks in return for the banks processing player payments for them. There is a lot more to it than this but it gives you an idea

I'm a poker player myself and play online 2-3 times a week. This has made a huge difference to all the prize pools etc. I really feel for the US players because a lot of them do this as their main source of income. The banning of them playing online is effectively taking away their livelihood. I hope the players will all rally together to help get the law changed so they can deposit online again for the benefit of not just the US players but the rest of the world

Hi dgsmith In answer to your question - we are effectively the same company. We are both owned by Misco UK (previously Systemax Europe) and trade as Misco and WStore. So yes, these are the same products and the same prices as they are from the same stock I hope this clears things up Regards

Damn, just a little bit too late!

Things are looking up - now out of admin and 16 points out of the last 18 is nice! Still rather be rid of the corrupt people in charge of our club but just happy to have a club. One step at a time I guess! Also, loving the Championship - the Premiership needs to hurry up and implode. Football needs to wake up and realise that something drastic has to be done. The Premier League loves its image as the best league in the world but the fact that almost every club is in debt, and massive debt at that surely means something needs to be done It's going to take a Man U or Liverpool to go bust before drastic measures are taken I fear. Or, Chelsea or Man Citys owners to leave the club in sh*t street then what happens? Give me attacking, free flowing football with plenty of goals in the Championship over 4-5-1 backs to the wall football in the Prem any day

Sympathy for suppliers? I dont think they are lookng for sympathy, they have to make money to survive so if prices are forced up due to no fault of their own then they in turn have to increase pricing to the customer. The margins in IT are very small with a lot of deals going through at 2-3% sometimes. I know Dell have i the past sold at a loss based on the potential for future business on servers, storage etc Squeeze suppliers all you like but a business still has to make a profit at the end of the day
