Well it's dinner time!! I'm having some lovely home made lasagne with home made cheesy garlic bread for my dinner, made by my Girlfriends mum!

What's everybody else having, bet it's not as tasty as mine!!:D

I really don't care, and neither do the posters of more relevant threads who aren't getting answers because they're so lost in all this :censored:.

Powdar Monkey, if you look at my recent posts I do post in more "relevant" forums.

As this is the "General Chat" forum I though I would strike up a light harted thread! Sorry if my post has offended you!

I've noticed of late there are many threads that flare up, people comment and people don't like it.

I'm finding it increasingly annoying, it's meant to be an open friendly forum and you get posts like the one above, if you don't like it, ignore it, its easier than causing a fuss.

Would be alot easier to ignore if they weren't so constant, the fact these "light-hearted" threads are opening up at alarming rates, bumping proper threads where help/information is needed down the list so no one can see them.

The first thing I do when I open the site in the morning is look at the newest threads and contribute accordingly, bit hard to help when I've got a choice of.

What did I have for lunch

Where do I drink

Where can I buy glasses

Does my bum look big in this

Get the drift?

I've noticed of late that many technical questions are going unanswered because they are so lost in the noise of general chatter. However, I think I've made my point and I don't intend to derail this valuable thread any further.

Point taken Ahuxham, I will refrain from posting anything like this again. See when it's put like that it makes sense, rather than powdar monkeys method which could be taken the wrong way.

If any mod is looking, please close this thread.

Grrr. I'm gettign over a bout of flu I got over the weekend. Saturday afternoon comes along with the sudden feeling that I'm very cold, so I whack teh heating up to 11 until the rest of my family complains their flesh is melting off and turn it off. By 8:30 I'm stumbling around with a blanket on shivering like an extra in a plague film, and the world spinning round and around in my head. By 9 I was in bed...still shivering. There I remained for almost 30 hours. I couldn't eat the entire time and even now my pack of sandwiches from Morrisons tasted like cardboard (that may or may not have been my tastebuds to be fair).

I hate being ill, especially as the weather on Sunday was so nice and all I could hear was my kids playing in the garden. I'm back in the office today, but still not 100%

Are you sure you ate the sandwich and not the packaging? ;)

Hope you feel better soon anyway - it's rotten feeling like that.

Did I miss something here?

I can't figure whether you're saying "i'm ill and can't be bothered to deal with threads like this right now" or whether your merely saying "I had morrisons sarnies for dinner"

Hope you feel better soon Dos_Box, I have cold, nothing like what you have but it still makes you feel terrible.

I find earl grey tea with lemon does wonders for flu!!

Fixed that for you. :getmecoat:

Cheese and Ham toasty done in one of them toasty bags you just pop in the toaster, amazing.

You have a Toaster :o I can imagine what would occur if I had one of those given the state of my desk and the amount of paper flying around at presnet (I'm sure my fire training is still good.....) hehe

I had Corned-beef Sanrnies with red sauce, bag of crisps, fruit jelly, some funky cereal bar thingy and bag of choc gems and then some random biscuits from the department biscuit pack :)
