Yup, anyone that has met me on here (Overworked is one of them) knows I'm a tie fanatic (well maybe he didn't know that but I am). I've got about 50 different ones and they all clash with my shirts and I think its great I'm an individual and the kids love it at work how I have funny ties with characters on in the main.

 

Serious point I wear one daily at work, if it gets in the way it gets taken off and the put on again or tucked into the shirt, they are not that weird really.

Well i have a copy of that very book in front of me at the moment, and the price (on the inside front of the paper sleeve) is (was) a mere £10-00

This is problem people think that you need to be in management to wear a tie when it should be about dressing in a professional manner. Ok if culture of the workplace means it is no tie place then ok. But 90% of work places dressing professtional means for a men wearing a tie.

 

The thing about professionalism is it is not the way your act but way people perceive you and the way you act that is important.
