rad Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 Morning! mondays are normally drab, but this one has a bright side, the kids go home at 12.40 due to a year having parents evening, haven't a clue which but dont care, it means we can have a quiet afternoon!!

LosOjos Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 Washing machine knackered over the weekend so I'm in jeans today, insomnia kicked in last night so I got to sleep around about the same time as the crows started this morning and had to get up shortly after that, today is going to be a long one...

bloxy Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 Not wonderful, an old friend passed away suddenly on Friday, gutted at that and several long phone calls later to mutual friends felt little better. So had a whiskey for him. Then Saturday another old friend came over and while the children were laying waste to the house we caught up over strong coffee and laughter. Then...yes there's more...I took my 13 year old to see the Blues Brothers at the theatre, he managed to break his arm on Thursday so was sitting awkwardly, there was a fire alarm. Then the first act on was James Brown.... large bloke blacked up with a huge awful wig on.....hurrah! Monday seems like a rest so far...
