LeMarchand Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 Ah crap I missed all this, its my teenage years all over again, turning up at a party just as everyone is leaving. If yours were anything like mine, you'd never have pulled the girl you fancied anyway .
korifugi Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 Plus, c'mon people - we are GEEKS. We'd have just hovered around in the kitchen during the party anyway.
Little-Miss Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 Wow, it's like waking up after a particularly good party at about 11am and going 'I drunk how much?', 'Oh, I was sick, I thought so but wasn't sure' and 'Where are my shoes\wallet\car keys?' or even 'What's that smell? Oh please God don't let it be me!' It seems we've had a bit of a party here. I had made a comment that I should possibly have sent via pm, but given my workload and the amount of 'Reported post' emails rapidly filling my inbox, I felt I had to say something. This was the net party equivelent of a 6 pack of Carlsberg Export. Next Tony tried to add a bit a levity and common sense to the situation, but the net party bottle of Thunderbird had not made his situation clear. There were also many comments and posts by members who had brought Kestral lager but had just spent the past hour in the net kitchen drinking the really good stuff the others had brought. And now look at the place! I hope someone is going to help me clear up! Ah well, at least I have some telephone numbers to ring tomorrow to either tell people off, or thank them. Best metaphor ever!
Danielle Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 Plus, c'mon people - we are GEEKS. We'd have just hovered around in the kitchen during the party anyway. I'd ;ike to know what defines a geek I am actually pleasantly overwhelmed with the reaction friday's thread has caused, and it hasnt been a ploy to drive traffic to the website - I just wanted to introduce myself and make an impression that people would enjoy and not forget. My topic lines are reflected on my personality, not my company's. I do hope I continue to put a smile on the faces of people who appreciate my sense of humour and fun approach when posting new threads thank you to everyone who has put their opinion forward , especially of those in support. Not all press is bad eh? lol
Edu-IT Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 I'd ;ike to know what defines a geek EduTech. (1-0!)

powdarrmonkey Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 Of the 2/3 people who have said "oh bugger this, i'm leaving"... I wonder who will be back All three.
Danielle Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 in defence of "Ring Of Flame" i would say that the women of the forum would see danielle's posts in a darker light , I'm come on if i got one of our people to sign up with a avatar showing a pair of legs and then starting a thread feeling frisky I'm sure its going to be mostly ment that reply, I think the point is tone it down a little she did come on strong and if you look deep enough into it you will see past the female bravodo and know it just another way of getting a new lead customer what have you, dont get me wrong its great to have a fresh face on the scene but male or female, now how would you guys feel if it was a guy started that thread and he had a avatar showing him in no top and wearing shorts muscles everywhere , think about it how many of you would be pm'in dos_box to moan about it , just my out of work two pennies worth;) So Simon, I just wandered do you think the problem was with my picture? or my choice of thread?
