Heh I really annoy the gf in shops like that as I always go round pointing at stuff going "How much is that?" Now she automatically replies in a bored voice "One pound...that's a pound...that's also a pound" 1
WStore_Dan Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 I don't think so.... My son (31), daughter(27) and daughters boyfriend(34) all have chocolate advent calendars.... I'm 29 and I've got 2. My girlfriend got us one each then her parents did the same! Can't wait for Xmas - I'll be sunning it up in Egypt after my lovely girlfriend decided to treat me to an all inclusive 5 star holiday to Egypt as a joint Xmas and 30th (January 24th) birthday present! :D
elsiegee40 Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 Our school Christmas Lunch today. The kids are high as kites. We have a very international set of pupils... meaning that our small school has seen various faiths celebrate their festivals already. The Dutch and Belgian families have shared St Nicholas' Eve (Dec 5), our Jewish families started Hannukah last Friday and our Swedish family has shared St Lucia's Day (December 13)... it's great for the children to be able to learn about other's beliefs at first hand. So, to cover most people, "Compliments of the Season!"
gavins38 Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 £1.99? Heh I really annoy the gf in shops like that as I always go round pointing at stuff going "How much is that?" Who am I to say no to free chocolate! Merry Christmas everyone!
gavins38 Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 Also for some pre-Christmas humour don't forget to check out Achmed The Dead Terrorist's version of Jingle Bombs!
vikpaw Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 So Xmas is nearly upon us and with a recent spate of 'troubled' threads it would be nice to spread a bit of Xmas cheer. So whatever nation, ethnic background or religion you come from, its time to come together and have a happy Christmas time! what no tea?

sparkeh Posted December 14, 2009 Author Posted December 14, 2009 Did my good Xmas deed today by helping an old lady in WHmith who bent down to pick something up and got stuck. Unbelievable how many people just walked past and left her.
garethEds Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 Did my good Xmas deed today by helping an old lady in WHmith who bent down to pick something up and got stuck. Unbelievable how many people just walked past and left her. We could start a whole new threat with 'continue the story.....' 'Did my good Xmas deed today by helping an old lady in WHmith who bent down... and.....' continue.... GJE

seanmh Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 Jingle Bells Dashing through the snow In a one horse open sleigh O'er the fields we go Laughing all the way A risk assessment must be submitted before an open sleigh is considered safe for members of the public to travel on. the risk assessment must also consider whether it is appropriate to use only one horse for such a venture, particularly if passengers are of larger proportions. Please note, permission must be gained from landowners before entering their fields. To avoid offending those not participating in celebrations, we would request that laughter is moderate only and not loud enough to be considered a noise nuisance While Shepherds Watched While shepherds watched Their flocks by night All seated on the ground The angel of the Lord came down And glory shone around The Union of Shepherds has complained that it breaches health and safety regulations to insist that shepherds watch their flocks without appropriate seating arrangements being provided. Therefore, benches, stools and orthopaedic chairs are now available. Shephers have also requested that due to the inclement weather conditions at this time of year they should watch their flocks via CCTV from centrally heated shepherd observation huts. Please note: The Angel of the Lord is reminded that before shining his/her glory all around she/he must ascertain that all shepherds have been issued with glasses capable of filtering out the harmful effects of UVA, UVB and Glory. 1
