Rydra Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 (edited) Some 2-3 years ago, at a Technical Seminar for RM, some little Teddybears with White T-shirts bearing an RM logo were given out freely to those who attended. We had one in the office as the office mascot/anger management tool; whenever we have a dislike towards RM, the teddy bear took the brunt of it. Unfortunately, some evil teacher has stolen our bear, and refusing to give it back! After many attempts at Blackmail and threatened torture to other teddy bears, we have come up with a cunning plan; My Network manager has decided we need to acquire a NEW RM bear to pretend we've captured the original back. So please, if anyone has one of these and can be parted from it, please get in contact with me here. We wil pay up to £10 english pounds for one of these bears. Edu-IT Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 Just ban her from the network until you get it back. Sorted.
Rydra Posted October 16, 2009 Author Posted October 16, 2009 As an additional, anyone who cannot part with their bear, but may want to assist the cause, please post your torture pictures here. Here is the last photo we had of the bear before it was captured. Unfortunately, we cannot do anything to the teacher that impacts on their ability to teach, but the thought had crossed our mind about bannage!
rad Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 Our NM had/has one. Apparently his son was given it ages ago!
SteveBentley Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 Unfortunately, we cannot do anything to the teacher that impacts on their ability to teach, but the thought had crossed our mind about bannage! Would making sure that wherever she logs on the wallpaper was changed to a "Missing" poster for said bear, or a "Wanted" poster for said bear thief, impact on her ability to teach?
Edu-IT Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 we cannot do anything to the teacher that impacts on their ability to teach, I'll resist the urge to teacher bash on a Friday! You guys have too much free time.
p858snake Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 Wait till the teacher leaves in the afternoon and mount a "rescue" mission.

Already about a day ahead of you on that one.... We bought a new mascot bear, the mascot of her favourite Rugby team, and have been sending regular photo's to her of various threatened tortures. Her background has been suitably changed to accomodate this! Today 10:54 AM Wait till the teacher leaves in the afternoon and mount a "rescue" mission. The RM bear has been well hidden, we have searched her teaching room a few times, and we believe the bear has now gone home with her!
Edu-IT Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 Just let her have it. At least RM will put a smile on somebody's face. (No, I'm not RM bashing)
Rydra Posted October 16, 2009 Author Posted October 16, 2009 Just let her have it. At least RM will put a smile on somebody's face. (No, I'm not RM bashing) Honestly I don't especially care about the bear as such. It's the principle of the teacher has stolen our stuff from our office, and she had the cheek to post her own pictures of the bear being lovingly cared for, after we'd spend much time and effort making it as uncomfortable as possible. The pics were uploaded to facebook too!
nicholab Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 I gave my now wife that as Christmas present
pooley Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 I like this thread, a nice normal Friday thread, no moaning, b1tc$ing or whining in any way:)
Rydra Posted October 16, 2009 Author Posted October 16, 2009 As requested, the pictures of our revenge bear; Please note, as yet the Wolf has not actually been harmed... 1
p858snake Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 You should of had the Bunsen burner on a blue flame for max damage, and what is so bad about being stuff in a TARDIS, going on a trip with the doctor would be awesome tbh.
