  1. I am looking for somewhere that can supply USB-C chargers (45W) for the above netbooks. Can anywhere recommend a supplier? I am really having trouble finding somewhere that doesn't charge over the odds. Also, looking at a potential for a new supplier of the netbooks themselves too. Looking at around 230 of them for our 1 to 1 device program. Current model is N20Q14
  2. If you are not going to be helpful, what is the point in posting a reply?
  3. Hello everyone, We are currently looking to change the helpdesk software we use but have specific requirements so I was wondering if anyone could recommend anything that would suite our needs. Just a little bit of background; we are a senior school that supports 10 local primary schools, and at the moment we use the online version of Spiceworks, and if I am honest, it works very very well. We also use a site called When I Work to organise site visits. This also works very well but we are looking for something that would do both, preferably free but we are willing to pay as long as it isn't too costly. Our Spiceworks is set up with different organisations and each organisation has their own individual email address to log tickets, this is something that we would need to have if moving over to a different solution as we would like to separate all the schools tickets. We would then also like to be able to have the ability to organise technician visits within the same system. Is anyone aware of anything that could do the job? Thanks Lewis
  4. Hello! I am looking for some guidance on the WebDav Navigator app for iPads. IIS is set up on a server running Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard and the version of IIS is 6.1. The issue I am having is that I cannot browse the server from the iPad. I have checked and double checked all the IIS settings and from what I can see it is set up correctly. I can access the site through a web page when logging on to it from the server and using the Active Directory credentials set up specifically for the WebDav app. I can also do the same from one of the other servers using the same method, however, when I try to access it from an iPad (or any device not on the domain) using the same details, I get a 403 error, which I am aware points to credentials or permissions but as far as I can tell, everything is as it should be. I really hope someone will be able to help with this or have had this issue before and been able to resolve it. Thanks Lewis
  5. Hi all, I was just wondering if many people install their own IWB's (or similar device). I did my very first install before the half term and it went really well. It did take me a while as I had to do my normal tasks whilst doing it but luckily the room wasn't in use. Saved the school £400 on install costs.
  6. GRRM has always said that when two people tell the same story, they might tell it slightly different but come to the same ending. For me it is just two interpretations of the same story.
  7. If the IWB is powered up there should be a light on, even if it isn't connected to the computer. I would investigate the power supply to the IWB
  8. I am a massive Song of Ice and Fire fan and I have read the books 5 times now in total. I decided that I would watch the TV series if it was out before the next book (which it will be) mainly down to the fact that there are bound to be spoilers floating round and due to the size of the show I don't think I would be able to avoid them. I ALSO decided that I would read no articles or watch no trailers but this is getting harder and harder to stick to. Should I watch the trailer or should I stick to my guns and keep away from it all?
  9. Is this meant to be a sequel to Cloverfield? I saw the trailer when I went to see Deadpool and I had heard that a sequel was on its way.
  10. Found out how to do it, but I have another question. Does anyone know of any setting in Excel you can configure so that if a cell is blank, any calculation on that cell are ignored?
  11. Hello Everyone First of all this is a personal request so I'm sorry if this should have gone somewhere else. I will try to explain the best I can but I am useless with Excel. Myself and a few friends are doing a pool league and I am trying to create a spreadsheet to calculate games played, games won, games lost, balls potted for, balls potted against and points. The idea, is when someone has finished their game, they can input the results and it totals them up as they go along, then at the end of the night all the information is already there to compile the league table. This is what it looks like so far. I'm struggling to work out how to calculate Games Played, Games won, Games Lost and Points. I have tried playing with the IF function but its like I'm banging my head against a brick wall I would love it if anyone could point me in the right direction
  12. I'd like a gerbil. I wonder if SLT will let me have one. I could feed anoying kids to it.
  13. This is the best news I have heard all week! This and the fact I am 28 this year makes me feel old too
  14. Try taking it into an apple shop and asking them. I've known people who have done the same with other items and the shop has replaced the item in question. If it is a known defect or weakness of the product then you should be entitled to some sort of part warranty repair.
  15. I wanted the option of doing it becuase I dont always want to use both. There is an app called "Sociable", it costs 59p but its ideal for what I'm looking for. If anyone is looking for the same thing then I highly recommend dipping your hand in your pocket!!
  16. Never mind. Found one.
  17. Hello all! I am after an App for the iPhone that will allow me to post status updates to both of the above. Does anything like this exist? Thanks in advance
  18. So can someone clear something up for me? Has Sky started showing Fringe or not? There are posts that say yes and no.
  19. Does kind of make you wonder. Only when they run away do people go to help. I do find it funny how the one guy falls off his bike. Not to mention the mobbing he gets after.
  20. I'm gutted. Kubica is one of my favourite drivers. Very entertaining to watch and a nice guy.
  21. Yea thanks for that, I can now walk round in society with my head held high!
  22. Just out of interest but how much is that costing you?
  23. And that is my useful fact for the day.
  24. HAHA! Brilliant! He's obviously the Chuck Norris of the Hamster world.
  25. Natalie Pinkham will be doing the 5 live pitlane reporting.
