AC/DC are a bit simplistic for my tastes.

Status Quo + Nasal vocals + Fireworks

....each to their own though....

No, the M62.

Oh, my mistake, that's the Highway to Hull. Not much difference though :getmecoat:

Hahahah... reminds me of an only fools and horses episode! My Mother in law is going to hull this weekend... uni reunion or something... :

AC/DC rock my world..:) I'm ripping out the car CD unit to go back to my MP3 system, as I have a LOT of AC/DC on it. Plus some bon jovi, Metallica, Iron Maiden, some fear factory...

I find it relaxing to work to.

Black Ice is growing on me a lot.

My wife asked me last year what I wanted for Xmas. I said "The AC/DC album Back in Black. NOT their latest CD". She bought me Black Ice. When I said "D'oh!" she said "What!? It had Black in the title!". I still prefer their old material.

Can't wait to see them in Wellington 30th Jan 2010

I'm very jealous! The last band I saw in Welly was Soundgarden (approx 1997?) at the Town Hall. Fantastic acoustics. Wish I'd taken earplugs tho... loudest band I've ever heard. My ears rang for about 2 days afterwards...

I'm abit old school. Iron Maiden, Thunder etc. AC/DC are brilliant and just put Gun 'n' Roses GReatest Hits in the car. I love listening to Nightwish and Evanescence as well. Anything metal really, but not that Death Metal stuff (Napalm Death etc).

My overall favourite though is Queensryche who I got to see after 17 years at Noriwch UEA. Ears ringing for two days as well. It was the full Operation Mindcrime set (Vol 1 and 2)., 3 hours of brilliance.

Argh... I meant to put this in General. Why is it behind the red door?! This is like the room 101 of edugeek. Please, someone, rescue Angus from Richmond!!

I tend to take earplugs to gigs in case of high volume. I can just about persuade myself to leave my dB meter at home :D

Don't want to end up like Pete Townsend!

Hmm I suppose it would be useful to check if a guy's got steel toecaps on before you start a fight...

No, seriously, I have no use for a metal detector at a gig!

I did tear someone's t-shirt once at a gig... that was embarrassing. I got shoved violently into the mosh pit (I'm more of a "just stand there and watch" kind of guy) by someone behind me and nearly got crushed, and as I was falling I grabbed the nearest thing which was the shirt of the guy in front of me. Ooops... His neck hole was about twice the usual size
