Bye Bye students

Yep, its that time again, said good bye to the Year 11s on Monday, and its Bye Bye Year 13's today.

 

Was asked to be available for the assemblies as the tutors and students like playing powerpoints and videos they have made.

 

Some staff can do really good presentations, others make me look pants when the sound doesn't work.

 

So its nearly another year over guys! One more term left...

Thankfully its raining as the flour bombed cars get a decent wash before hometime.

Don't think flour mix with rain on cars is a good combo!

Ours leave today, I'm just counting the minutes till 3.30 as our students file server is full and I need to start archiving them off ASAP!

Ours dont get study leave they stay untill the exams are over....

We're stuck with ours right up until the end of the exams on June 22nd! Not ideal when you're itching to start revamping all 8 IT suites!

Ours went at midday. Total ballache.

 

The leavers assembly was still being assembled at 11.03, to start at 11..thank god we always anticipate staff not listening to the 6 Ps.

 

Got it all running, then got so tied up in that, it caused issues with a heads presentation to other heads, that's just finished. Gah.

 

We've had tears, we've had hugs, we've signed books and shirts, and thank CHRIST it's done.

Excellent costumes here. Was lol. From old ladies to fat costumes, bat lady and rapunsel.

Missed our Y13s going they had to look after there own Presentations and Audio needs (was left setup the night before) as we all escaped to a course, didn't come back to murder thankfully so can't have been too disasterous for them. Bit more time before the Y11s go though.

our year 11's left on friday, we get our new ankle munchers on the 15th of june.

Our Year 11's left yesterday - took me back to 2 years ago! Not much havoc as our school are really good at controlling it (with teachers following their every move, and their kept outside until 10 to 9!!!)
